I'm planning on moving to Germany.
But, the map is not going well since my cousin has been d***ing around on my lappy, and cleaned out a lot of my stuff...
It's fine (the writing I mean). My idea is more like this: The map will be gridded, except for buildings and the graveyard. There will be one zombie on each square that people are not given in the beginning. The graveyard can't be assigned to anyone, and there will be a bonus of X armies for the ...
The "twist" to keep people off the streets is the overwhelming amount of zombies. And the "more like the movies" feel was to make it a better zombie-experience.
But the street segments would be like territories that have no bonus for owning them. I just don't know how big. I'm out until tomorrow ...
I like that idea of the zombies starting out in the graveyard and reinforcing and advancing from there... It makes it more like movies where people start off in the open, as normal, then scramble for cover.
But to get from building to building, you walk on the street. I just haven't decided how ...
I have a rough idea of the map on p2, as the title says.
And i would work on this today, but my grandma-in-law's cats just had kittens, so I'm going to be over there, picking one out and absorbing the cute.
The farmhouse would make it more along the lines of Night of the Living Dead, but it would kinda demolish mt Day of the Dead feel. It's just switching off one zombie movie, worked on by Romero and Russo. I like Romero more, and the rest of the "...Of the Dead" movies are made solely by Romero. The ...
Addressing everything said, in some semblance of order: 1-- The nixing teleportation is a good idea, actually. I was thinking though, if I do that, it''l be unfair to have all the zeds gaining one unit in each area per turn. that one's in the air.
2-- I can make it darker, no problem, I think. That ...
This is half-done, building connections have not been set up, the streets are incomplete and have not been segmented, building bonuses are undetermined, buildings/streets/rooms have not been named yet, building colors need to be worked on ...
The map is going well, actually, but I need ideas on how often to split the streets into their various sections? Too few, and the zombies will be no threat. Too many, and the people will end up working together against the zombies instead of against ...
Hey, good news, I'm getting my lovely girlfriend to help me a lot on the map.
Unlike me, she is made of win when it comes to art.
So, I may have a decent map coming up.
I might be capable of producing some legitimate starting image for you if you can give me a more defined setup. I assume thematically you're thinking of the kind of Romero "trapped in a building for the whole damn movie" type of theme? As far as continent bonuses go, I think the mall, police ...
Meh, it was an idea, wasn't it? Anyway, The way i see it, there would be 8 main buildings, acting the same role as continents; ya know, reinforcement bonuses. If I were to use the infected neutrals, it would probably be best to include alleyways or something of the sort that can only be accessed ...
Like I said, I have no art talent whatsoever, and no scanner. I work from a lappy.
The infected neutrals have a lot of promise, and I was also thinking perhaps we could do something along the lines of barricades. Like overrun in some board versions of Risk, just backwards.
