Tim is lynched!

After a single round, the players did a lap and passed go; their reward, a certain piece of paper. One so alluring it threatened to tear the town apart. To avoid this, the town decided to put the money itself in jail; it would go quietly though, struggling until it was torn to shreds. Never again would the capitalism threaten to buy out every space, never again would people be sent to work at the railroads with nothing more than a tiny plastic house and still be forced to pay luxury taxes.

TimWoodbury, Green Monopoly Money (Mafia Roleblocker) has been lynched!

You have until Sunday to send in your actions!

Two things: mets has a double vote or that's an error? and I suggest you edit the first post of the thread to include the phase of the game.

My mistake. Unvotes aren't strictly required, but I do appreciate them for accuracy's sake. :D

And added links to dead list.

The night was an active one.

A loose button didn't belong on the game board; it might have some day when the situation was more desperate, but right now no one knew where it would belong, which side it would choose. They never would. When it was turned around, a clang of plastic on plastic could be heard as the button fell to a heavy blow to the eye.

dakky21 Loose Button (unaligned backup) has been killed!

As the candlestick rolled from the scene, a voice could be heard calling out form the observatory. "Red looks good on you, da? Not the first time you've worn it, not the last." "I didn't kill Boddy, I don't know why everyone always thinks I do things I don't... It was the pipe, I just do what needs to be done." "Still, I could use someone like you..."

Elsewhere

A rolling click could be heard as fate turned. "Six" Random odds against random odds. "Urgh Hit... We're taking on water!" came a reply as the hull was breached with a plastic clank. "Return fire! Set coordinate for volley at B, 7." The canons fire blindly, and the round found the most interesting scene.

Back at the mansion

"Fine, you've convinced me; forget town, my light is shining red from now on! We're unstoppable; you take the world, and I kill the stragglers." Just as the candlestick made its pledge, the volley smacked into body mansion, snuffing it for good.

WingCmdr Ginkapo, Candlestick (Cult Vigilante / action miller) has been killed!

With 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch. You have until Sunday April 17th

Am I allowed to ask what this role means? Also if he's in red, does that mean he was on Tim's team?

I'm not so sure Wing was Mafia.. Tim was "Mafia Roleblocker", Wing "Cult Vigilante". Cult and mafia are two different things. That's why I asked about the font color.

Sort of... I can't tell a ton in this case because it may or may not relate to other roles. Miller means that someone always appears as guilty to investigations; picture that, but with actions.
And no; it's just that red fits cult more thematically in this case... I'll change Mafia to Yellow >>

I agree. I've never played with a game with Vig before but what are the odds we have more than 1? Probably very low. Therefore Wing killed dakky, mafia killed wing.

Wing as cult killing dakky makes sense because any team dakky joins would be against cult, and once mafia is weak, his cult can pounce on town.

Mafia killing Wing. This is a little more interesting. Wing claimed, quite early on that scum are Tim, IB, Ragian, and mandy. To which Ragian just laughed. Then Wing said mandy was very low on the list and that AoG and I are frontrunners to replace mandy on the scum list. It would make a lot of sense for one of these people to kill Wing if they are scum. Maybe even too obvious. But they knew they were losing their scum buddy Tim, so maybe it would have been just too dangerous to allow Wing to continue. Wing was trying hard to convince us he is town, and because of this has played quite consistently (including saying that Mandy is low on his scum list as Mandy has acted very much like town would). Even though Wing's not town, now that we know Tim, his first choice, was indeed scum, it draws a lot of red lines under people who argued heavily against Wing.
Also, Wing who was one of the first to vote for Tim, and raised red flags against Ragian and IB:

WingCmdr Ginkapo wrote:
He asked why you werent considering joining his team.... Basically he asked if he should nightkill you tonight and you said yes...

No one attempts to remove momentum that easily. Tim is a legitimate lynch target, and you will not distract us by voting a easy absent player. IB, you always try to lynch 3rd party players early because of the threat they pose, and you rarely advocate pushing inactives.

Unvote Vote Tim.

Slash, we really need a votecount here.

IB was the first person to offer a reasonable defense for Tim. Then, he follows it with an unexplained LSU vote. (probably because LSU was inactive, which would fit with IB's first vote against HotShot). When strike says that vote against LSU is bad because his inactivity can be explained and/or is not a scum sign, IB defends his vote against LSU and states that he'd choose dakky over Tim. He even went as far as saying the case on Tim is "crap". He was also rather hesitant in saying anything after strike posted the 9th vote on Tim. Finally there's this post:
Iron Butterfly wrote:I've limited posts been ga... :-$ Mmmppp....mp PR

A lot of the back and forth between Wing and Ragian was in my opinion pointless and in some cases was about older and irrelevant mafia games. Ragian's attitude towards dakky is also very suspicious to me; and he has changed his mind about him multiple times. I repeatedly stated that dakky is most likely going to be helpful to town, especially at an early stage. On the other hand, Ragian read dakky the opposite way and was skeptical of his allegiance. When vote against dakky fell apart, and there wasn't much support to vote for me, he votes Tim. Then, dakky gets killed during the night. Coincidence?
Wing also called Ragian scum very early in the game. While nothing is definitive, the sequence of events suggests that Ragian was worried about this. Also his suspicions against AoG seem a little weak to me.

FOS Iron Butterfly and Ragian.

Metsfan is also suspicious: overly defensive of Tim, overly aggressive towards dakky, and sometimes his posts seemed a little lacking.

Strongly leaning towards town for: HotShot & Mandy.
AoG, madmitch, and strike have all made some impressive posts, but at the same time some of their behavior is just confusing to me.

I have some other potential candidates, but since those are my top choices, I would like to hear thoughts on this.

 That is downright a-dorable. "I am so confused, their roles have both been printed in red and it's not like I have any additional knowledge about the members of Monopoly Mafia. O:) "

Seriously though, vote BuJaber for 1) trying to divert the heat from Tim on Day 1 by voting Josh for inactivity and 2) pretending that he didn't notice the difference between the word "Mafia" in Tim's role and the word "Cult" in Wing's one.

We are off to a good start..

Not sure what would give IB a post restriction so I can't say much about that but seeing as he has been called suspicious its very inconvenient that we can't question him..

I will have to go back and see who else was defending Tim early and who jumped on the vote towards the end but that will be a bit later

Sorry about previous post, colors confused me, Vig is often town . I also did not like I.B. and Ragian attack on Dakky so early, he was not even dangerous until the first death. Mets is also a good scum pick for also sticking up for Tim and going after Dakky. I have a strong gut feeling that he is scum, and I have a huge gut  So I say VOTE METS

Ahm... I'm quite confident that I consistently pointed to dakky NOT BEING AN ISSUE. My problem with dakky was him saying that he would go for the team that was losing. You can't just make up stuff, BuJaber. Was it misrepresentation or do you think I was unclear?

Also, I'd like to add that I wasn't on the Tim train. I didn't like the case, but luckily it panned out. Well, Tim did throw in the towel. However, the magic of hindsight seems to be working very well for BuJaber. You need to understand, though, as town I don't know who else is town. Scum are the only ones who know who is not scum. So if I think a case is weak, I'll say so.

I haven't changed my mind about BuJaber so far to be honest, but I don't want to start a bandwagon this early.
