If I am right then the 6 at the table should be careful about bluffing.

The mod mentions just 1 flavor element in the set-up: the boiler room of a legit resort..

So its not flavor but a key element.

A legit resort would never organise a poker game in its boiler room..

That is why i think mafia is to be found at the poker table.

That's my opinion for the set-up to the game.
If I am right then the 6 at the table should be careful about bluffing.

I actually think that at leasst one Scum is at the table. but ofc I have nothing to back that up. But yeah town power roles might be at the table as well.

there are two options for the table.

if it is a situation where it's a shady game, then maybe certain roles were selected for the table, and those randomly assigned those roles are there.. which would likely be a mix of scum and certain power roles (vigilante type, so not scum, but not a "by the book" character either)

or the table spots are randomly assigned, so it'll be a mix of scum, power roles, vanilla townies

I believe the shady condition of the game lies on the 6 players at the table and what they can do to themselves. Therefore , in my opinion , scum and power are not at the table.

I feel like at the moment, were starting to play the mod more than the game with all the hypotheses surrounding the table and if scum are at the table or not. I dont have any scum feelings about anyone yet. I will say that I lean towards Son!c and Homer being town at the moment.

That's what always happens at the beginning of games. It's difficult who does it because they honestly think it has value just now and who's just trying to appear active and pollute the thread.
