Colonel Krink and 6D9 - Secret Alliance

Postby bamage on Sat Jun 07, 2014 4:25 pm

Colonel Krink
6D9

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 13880624

Comments:

Here's an easy one. The accused joined this foggy game. When (after 50 rounds) I took one of them out, I noticed that he could have easily been taken out by the other and had amassed on other fronts. I did some research, saw that over a third of 6D9's games are played with Colonel Krink. I brought it up in the chat, wherein Colonel Krink acknowledged three things:

1. They're "family"
2. They often play from eachother's computers
3. They have an "unwritten rule" of not "f*&$ing with" each other.

#1 and #2 aren't necessarily bad, but #3 is a standing truce they carry with them from game to game. It's cheating. Colonel Krink thinks they "can't be the first" to do this and is acting like he doesn't know it's cheating. This is all in the chat.

Please enlighten them. It's not fair to other players who join foggy singles games with them.

They do not seem multis to me.
I also do think Bamage that you have somewhat interpreted the game chat wrong. Some players can play somewhat "different then others".
If you have no further evidence that both accused are conductind SD, they are of the hook.

This is very obvious how could anyone miss this secret diplomacy? I know its SOP to give benefit of the doubt, but with no public agreement in chat between colonel Krink & 6d9, yet perfect harmony on border truces and harmonious alliance w/o game chat proposal of truce, modification of conditions of truce and no term limits of truce? Come on this is obvious.

For a truce must start with a proposition, a request for the other player in game chat. Any other form of a proposal for truce is a violation. And Colonel Krink admits to a long standing formed alliance from multiple prior games. That's cheating to enter a standard game with an already commence alliance.

The moderator said they don't seem like miltis-. Very odd to address an accusation that was not proposed by OP, how about rereading the original post for secret diplomacy and not a multiple account.

I am sorry, since I prefer defending people than accusing them, but OP and Chiro seem totaly right.

Still looking into this, the multi check I did is standard. No matter what the accusation is.
I'll look further to see if there is foul play or not.
If you guys think they are conducting SD, feel free to provide some evidence, game numbers and thinks like that.

sniff

sniff you are correct,

Colonel and I have discussed this and IA are happy that there is no SD going on. His reply to me,
Colonel Krink wrote:Hey bud, just read your message. There's obviously some confusion ! This guy's accusing us of cheating which is not the case. One of the borders between 6D9 and I were not heavily fortified but some of the terts behind the front lines were. All I said was it's like an unwritten rule between players by not stock piling the borders we divert our attention in another direction for the time being, there will come a time when we will attack each other without notice. NEVER did we ever say or do anything towards an agreement without posting it in the chat for everyone to see. Games that I've played the same players over and over this just becomes a habit, it's like a subliminal message. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry it had to get this far. I hope this helps !

Colonel Krink.

lol. okay. The facts remain: I saw ALL of 6D9 as I eliminated him (to eliminate someone, you need to see all of him at some point, last I checked.) They were pretlezed around each other in the fog (I can't say where, as the game is ongoing) and there was no reason Krink should have been leaving him alive. And when I challenged him on this he said they have an unwritten rule and "we can't be the first!?" Later, he acknowledged that they're family and log in from the same computers. But I guess that - all evidence to the contrary, in this game and the 118 (of 340) games that 6D9 has played with Krink - his clan mate's assurance that there was no secret diplomacy is enough.

The fact is that they carry an alliance with them from game to game. He didn't even think this was cheating. When he realized how ridiculous that was he tried re-casting what he said publicly in chat.

This is beyond ridiculous. Agent 86, dismissing this so steadfastly just makes you look like foolish. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Ciao.

Research turns up the most interesting things on the Colonel...

Of the 28 standard games that had at least 6 players in them that had Colonel Krink, 6D9 and Toots_Away, one of those three won all but 8 of them. 12 of the 28 6+ player games were won by the Colonel, specifically. I wonder what an IP Address check will turn up about Toots_Away. 41 of that fremium player's 90 games have have been played with the Colonel. 47 of the 91 were played with 6D9. Profile says he's Canadian. I'll bet that:
1. they log in from the same IP frequently, just like the Colonel and 6D9 do
2. Colonel will claim they're family

So we will wait on the pending decision..feel free anyone to produce biased accusations.

I do not know what "the 2 map wonder" means, but no, I have not done my homework.
I am not a moderator and I do not feel obliged to do my homework in a C and A topic where I posted exactly 18 words, especialy when those 18 words agreed with another post, which proposes that homework is probably not needed to conclude the case.

While it is acceptable for friends and family to play with or against one another, the issue seems to be if they are willing favoring each other in this and possibly other games. If this is an isolated event that happened by chance the charge of secret diplomacy should not be applied but if this is an on going issue that could be grounds for secret diplomacy. Intentional favoring of a player tilts the game causing a disadvantage to the other people playing.

86, read the whole thread and ask yourself who is trying (desperately? ) to infuse the conversation with insult and negativity. That would be you.

You promised you were leaving. Stick to your guns.

How can that be? According to you, there is nothing at all to talk about.

Regardless of what the mods determine, I am confident that the colonel will at least decrease the frequency with which he loads six-player games with his supposed housemate and family member fremiums.

You might not read this because you have me foed (you scared?) but you may want to tread carefully, like your co-(main)leader and just wait for the decision.

I'm foeing him anyways... he'll just onboard other identities, like he did with toots_away. Either that, or his score will plummet. Either way, he's not worth my time.

And of course Agent86 didn't stick to his hysterical, breast-clutching threat to quit CC. So we've learned that he's full of crap, too.

Well... a fairminded, somewhat-embarrassed (by association) member of your esteemed clan has let us know, via copy/paste, exactly what three of IA's members really think went on here. We're noodling around what to do with it, if anything. In the meantime, the more you say, the better.

Really, then what you just posted is not true... a fairminded, somewhat-embarrassed (by association) member..so who is this esteemed liar that you speak of? But you said three of IA's members really think went on here..so you retract this statement?

Well sniffe, I await your PM..meanwhile because of the last few posts, I request a review of how this was decided.

Due to the respsect of my clan, I will not take anymore baiting and refuse to post on CC forums again.
