The reason Fog of War was left out is because currently 19% of games have Fog and I was concerned this would raise that % dramatically which might not be a good thing... All the medals based on Game Type are mutually-exclusive and balance each other out.

sounds good, but fog isnt night

And the fog of war is rarely actually caused by, y'know, fog. I don't think you should be so negative about it, I like them, even though they're the lower level achievement medals. It means that you can have local targets, rather than aiming for 300 new people eliminated, even if the medal is essentially worthless.

we have one for standard games, so why not freestyle as well? i dont overly mind myself on that one, but just a thought...

I would really like to see the Standard medal divided into 2:

for 1v1s and
for games with 3 or more players.

Really want a fog one too (pretty sure mine would be gold already)

You would probably need to go a bit deeper in your suggestion of the fog medal, for one, how would one earn it?

Would they earn it simply by playing fog games, or by winning a certain amount of said fog games? Odds are the latter option would be chosen simply because then the fog medal would be too easy to receive.

As much as i think it would be nice to see a medal like that be made, i think it's a it's a bit unnecessary.

That's my constructive criticism for this thread, nothing more, nothing less.

Has been suggested many times in other "new medal" threads.

I would love to see it - and think it should be the same as the other medals - unique defeated opponents - 20, 100, 400 etc as the others are.

all the medals are silly to some extent.. this actually would be a good way to inspire those who havent tried it, to try them. Thats more or less the purpose of the other ones too, beyond keeping us pumping our quarters into the machine.

I think there will be no field left in ppl's frofile pages once these all bully medals take place....
what there is got to do with FoW thing ? Just a simple choice of preference.. Some like to play under fog, some dont. Why should we reward or award medals just because they were played under fog ? Is it a game style or what ?
I am not a judge, and here is not a courtroom, but this stuff is slightly getting boring. Lately everything is becoming linked with if it could be linked with a new medallion.
If it is something to make here are genious new medal proposals...
Turn 5 Medal : Assign unique defeats which has been recieved before game round 5.
Awesome turn back medal : Given to those who has made a great turn back in team games...

Bronze -20 unique kills
Silver-100
Gold -400
Platinum-1000

Platinum medals could be achieved in Singles,Trips and quads with 1000 unique kills.
Platinum medal could be achieved in cross map with 125 maps completed with 5 unique kills.

i think there should definitely be a foggy medal(oh, i just checked.......409). and for cross maps. i think 60 is a low number for gold.

I think they should have a medal that is given to players that beat 20/100/400 individual players under the fog setting...just like they do everything else....Anyone?
