Generally in favor of medals, but this... no. In fact, I don't think these games should even get the same points as a full fledged game.

Then ONLY exception I can see is for speed games. Having the limit option available is the only way some games can really be played in speed.

I don't see that as an exception either.... it counts towards your speed medal... I'd leave it at that. Don't think we need a medal for limited rounds

Like i said in my opening, i could care less; just trying to think of something that would improve the site. And the arguments made against it here make 0 sense, as they would be arguments against any medal... Round limit games do have different strat, and if people think that it's just sittin back, then i'm not sure their strat is sound. As i said.... medals aren't my thing, but whatever.

I think its a great idea! More Medals, why not! It certainly have a different strat!

It could work interestingly, like say: if you win a "20 round game" in round 15 it doesn't count toward your medal, only if you win the game by letting it "run out of rounds" does it count toward the medal... (i don't know if this is possible, but hey, why not!)

I do not support this and for the reason that round limit games would be used when they aren't necessary just to get the medal. Round limits were put in to have a way to avoid dead lock games that doesn't involve deadbeating or suiciding.

I do not support this and for the reason that round limit games would be used when they aren't necessary just to get the medal. Round limits were put in to have a way to avoid dead lock games that doesn't involve deadbeating or suiciding.

round limit games do add some, however small, level of strat to a game, but I would agree that the game shouldn't have to end by limit to achieve the medal.. Omg.. what was I thinking suggesting this.. my bad folks....
