Conquer Cup-- need a feature to buy people in.

You can gift premium membership already so this shouldn't be much of an issue to put in place, I think a mod should maybe move this to suggestions

I wasnt sure if 1) I was missing the feature and 2) where to put this.

But I am willing to buy in many many people.

I just need a direct method other than some sort of paypal or money order gifting.

I think it is a great idea, AoN, and I think it pairs pretty nicely with the Gift of Premium Membership which we already allow.

We'd just have to make sure that whoever received the gift---could be reminded about the Tournament, so they don't deadbeat out of the Tournament due to forgetting that someone purchased them a spot! The best way may be simply to allow 'Gifting' of Conquer Credits, (so say you 'Gift' 500, and then that user could register for the Conquer Cup themselves).

sounds good andy, someone is about to win my "Buy in" one game callout, and I will need a way to live up to my promise. If we can make this feature happen, I intend to have a lot of buy in one game "tournaments"

Andy I would message you or something but I think in the 5 years or so I have been here and messaged you they were 100% ignored.. So Ill ask it here- When will this feature be added? The first buy-in game was jsut won (not by me) and I need a way to get this guy into the cup. He doesnt have paypal or I would just send it. He lives in hungary or something or I would just send a check.

I'm not sure when something like this could be slated into an update. I'll check things out, and see if I can have Lack slide it into an up-and-coming one, since I think it would be beneficial to our community as whole!
