Scum love to just coast along,its really the best choice for them D1,as town we cant really allow this,especially as this game is mostly vanilla(even if mafia fully"stacked the deck")

I think the way the question was asked to bos was a little weird she is usually open with her answers but that specific question would lead the way for scum to stay under the radar to her by acting opposite of whatever she posted.. Nothing wrong with asking for more info as to why she didn't think Mitch was scummy which she answered.

Last game he was town he was very opinionated,here hes just blending in to the wall,which raises an eyebrow from me.

It is true that i have not been as active on this game as yet, but that is really because i have not really anything useful to post. I guess I am being a little distracted with my other games, and perhaps should not play so many games at once.

Having said that, it is only D1 and as yet I have no real reads on anyone, what would you have me do? keep switching my vote with lots of joke votes?

suffice to say I am reading all posts carefully and when i find something scummy i will pounce on it.

There is something else thats important to D1 this game. Mafia had a N0 so knew when the game was going to start properly. The first three posts were Boss, Mars and Myself. Boss and Mars both posted within 30 mins of Streaker. Now I was willing to give Boss benefit of the doubt as I know posting at 07:00 CC time is normal for her as she is European. However, Mars is American so this is rather odd. Moreover, by the fact that Mars was stalking the mafia forum throughout the previous weekend, odd behaviour for someone not in a game.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I'm surprised at the flak bosaa received for the response to IB. It was a pretty strangely worded question from IB, asking "how to and how not to get onto your scum list", instead of asking simply about mitch, whom bosaa sort of indicated having a seemingly distinct set of criteria for. Though looking closely at those who chided bosaa for her response - Mars, IB and Wing - they weren't attempting to use the situation as a cheap way to pin suspicion on bosaa either, since they didn't list her on their suspect list, and IB explicitly said it isn't necessarily scummy behaviour. So at least it doesn't seem like they weren't making a scum move.

I think bosaa's vote on IB is rather strong a reaction though. If I recall, IB isn't exactly the most tactful of people, so I wouldn't see his phrasing of the question as a scummy move at this point.

I'm rather hesitant on the case built based on the timing of posts... How does mafia having a N0 mean that they'd know the exact time that Streaker would make the game opening post? Sure, they might have known that the game would start after they'd told him their decision, but how would that mean they knew the exact time Streaker would make the post, and be so enthusiastic as to wake up earlier and check the forums at 07:00 CC? Wouldn't Streaker still have had to send out the roles to the villagers, since he had to know how the scum stacked the deck before sending town roles out? So yea, I honestly don't think the post timing is any indication.

Haven't played with TWR before, so I've no point of reference; can't really comment on that at the moment. Shall wait to see what dakky says before I can size him up. I also note that PT hasn't posted for 3.5 days now... further back than my last post, in fact, but he didn't get prodded. Wonder what's going on there...

Acknowledges PT's post as strange, but doesn't add anything more. Says that post timing may not be indicative... but then again may be indicative so let's keep looking at it.

The posts seem like fine examples of how to say something without really saying anything... Most of the opinions - each of which he only briefly mentions - are mostly repetitions of what has been said earlier, and sometimes even sees him equally taking both sides of the argument.

I still believe it was a very strange question to ask and I will definitely keep it in mind. As I said earlier, it is also possible I misinterpreted the question. People seem to be divided about it, some say it was a good or simple question, some say it was a strange question, but no-one really believes it was a scummy question, so I am not going to be stubborn about it.

Right now I give priority to hearing from all 12 people in here. Dakky caught my attention for not posting for so long. I find his first post after returning not convincing. He díd post for the first 2 days, but disappeared after that. Now he's saying that he didn't expect both games to start at the same time. Okay, but is that a good enough reason for not posting anything at all for 4 days? Other people are involved in more games and manage to post in here.
