It has been a while. Ill also tip my hat to Storr here. It doesnt necessarily take a good player to see the move to be made there but it does take a good player to pull it off.

I do not understand this. The quoted thing from Epitaph says

If a deadline is reached due to inactivity, the player with the most vote will be considered lynched. If a deadline is reached due to an impasse, I will consider it a no lynch and the game will go into night phase without a death.

We clearly DID NOT reach the deadline due to inactivity, there were 40 pages of content in D1. There's no way that satisfies this stated criterion for a plurality lynch.

Everyone at Hogwarts could feel that this was not the Hogwarts that they were used to. Students eyed each other warily and many of them whispered rumors about who is the most likely to be a death eater. From the moment the stepped off the Hogwarts Express, many of them began intense interrogations of one another. However, the students weren't the only ones drawing scrutiny. Even the teachers and adults in the school were being accused of some of the most heinous of crimes.

Snape was used to such accusations. His checkered history with death eaters and Voldemort was the worst kept secret in the school. However, he managed to rise above it on many an occasion and teach whatever classes he was assigned, be it Potions or his favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts.

But today was different. The air was heavy. Dark clouds circled the skies and the students' and adults'' eyes. People knew death eaters were abound and who would be more likely to be loyal to Voldemort than Snape?

Snape was no match for those who surrounded him. Just when he thought he would escape to his quarters for the night, they knocked him down and drew a noose around his neck.

First,

1. This game is moderated by me (Epitaph1), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. I

Second,

11. Deadlines WILL be set when I feel like they should. Pay attention to them.

Now, it's night. No more talking.

I asked the mod to make this last post. I am on a study trip from Sunday the 17th until Sunday the 24th. I didn't mention it earlier because I assumed the night would be longer (soooo many people...) but either way I probably won't be posting in the first 6 rl days of Day 2, I will try to find a way to get internet though.

Oh well....it was a good D1, I guess Snape has to die sooner or later. :(

GL with your N actions. Don't forget to do your potions homework - your OWLS are coming up (ordinary wizarding level exams). You don't get to be as good as me without hard work and sacrifice.

Oh and...GO TOWN! Get those scummy death eaters!

Everyone woke to a loud shriek. Some poor first year student had stumbled out of bed during the early morning hours and across a form lying in the Great Hall. Within moments, everyone at Hogwarts except the house elves working in the kitchens was packed into the room. They formed a circle around the lifeless body of Professor McGonagall. She looked peaceful as she rested supine, as if someone had set her down gently--almost as if she was asleep. However, Professor McGonagall would not wake from this dream.

It is not Day 2. You may talk.

With 22 alive, it takes 12 to lynch.

Tempted to vote Storr for creating the bandwagon that cost us a vig.
Anyone have any better ideas?

Storr obviously was just trying to save his own skin - I'd still be happy to vote for him at the end of the day if there are no other strong candidates, but first I'd like to know why the others jumped on that bandwagon instead of just going after him?

Save my own skin yes.
But losing a vig vs an investigation role.

The lynch very well could have been stalled and been on investigation.

Should point out who died...

I think it is all on knowing the flavor of the story. Mad eye is a very powerful member, where it was tough to call what Snape's role would be in this. If I would have been on and saw the claim then, I would have been off the deg case.

Since it just the start of the day, I think we can wait to see if anyone brings anything up right away.

FPed by storr

I agree with store that the investigation role is much more important than a vig role

I really don't understand the attention on Storr right now. Where were you people at the end of day 1 when it could have done some good? What use is it to go after him now? He's already claimed.

Don't we need another claim at this point?

I wasn't really convinced by the case against you, to be honest, and pershy wasn't exactly clear about what his role was when he claimed.
Still, I wasn't sure the choice should have been between Storr and pershy, but I didn't think I could get people to follow my lead - especially since I didn't finish rereading the thread until about 15 minutes before the deadline.

I agree with BG about not following Storr, but I'm not quite as wary of Storr as BG is.

Lynching Pixar may not be a bad idea. Voting no lynch D1, skimming, not posting much of substance - I don't know that I'd say he's been very helpful to town thus far.

Regardless if I can or cannot be targeted, this is not a pro town question to be asking.

I don't think refusing to provide answers to questions that are asked of you is a pro-town thing to do - it makes you look suspicious, which leads to more questions, which can lead to a lynch, which would then be a wasted day (at best) if you're town.
So, why do you keep doing it?
