About the Entertainment Team
The Entertainment Team has a pretty self-explanatory purpose, to entertain the community and keep things fun!
We are responsible for organising and running site-wide events and celebrations. For more information on what kind of events and celebrations we regularly run each year, you can visit the Community Event Calendar for 2011. We also run surprise events from time to time that you won't be expecting!
We also look after Conquer Club's Social Media (Facebook & Twitter Pages), keeping the community up to date and interacting! As well as the Conquer Club Dispatch, the community's source for current news, information and exciting things about everything Conquer Club!

Positions available on the Special Events Team
**We are looking for people with skills in these specific areas**
Area:Tournaments/Game Challenges Position Description:Spoiler
People in this position would be responsible for developing, running and organising official tournaments as part of special events, and would be involved with the brainstorming of new ideas, as well as the development, implementation and organisation of game challenge events such as Whac-a-Mod etc. This person would need a high level of coordination and organisational skills.

Choose ONE of Conquer Club's regular events from the Events Calendar, and briefly outline a tournament or game challenge that could be included in that event.

Area:Outside the Box Thinking/Non-Game Activities Position Description:Spoiler
People in this position would be responsible for outside the box thinking and ideas, helping to brainstorm fresh and new non-game related activities for events, as well as developing those ideas and implementing them (examples of current non-game related activities include: Spot the Differences, Live Chat/Forum Trivia, Mafia Games, Scavenger Hunts, Graphics Contests etc.). This person would need a high level of coordination and organisational skills.

Choose ONE of Conquer Club's regular events from the Events Calendar, and briefly outline a non-game related event that could be included in that event.

Who are we looking for? A good team candidate will embody the following characteristics:
Leadership
Good grammar (spelling, punctuation, capitalization, etc)
Positive personality
Level-headedness
High level of forum activity (across multiple forums)
High level of community involvement (games, forum games, tournaments, clans, etc)
Self-motivated
Critical thinking skills
Ability to dedicate an adequate amount of time to the position

All the "ise" words are spelled with a z only by Yanks.
I figured that's how it worked, but my spell check always says conceptualise is wrong, so I went with the z. the s looks so much more sophisticated, doesn't it? Now that I know it's a stupid national thing, I am going to start using the s again.
