Lets all remember those who have lost their lives serving their country.

i thought it was rememberence day (on nov 11, 11:11 am ) ???

well, i will remember those dead and those alive who keep the freedom here in n america.

Happy Memorial Day all. And a big thanks to all the vets, you can never be repaid for your service and sacrifice.

11-Nov is Veteran's Day.
It used to be called Armistice Day, celebrating the end of WWI which took place at 11:00 on Nov-11.

No, he's right. He's just Canadian. Memorial Day is an American thing that we have nothing to do with here in Canada. Instead we have Remembrance Day on November 11th. A song played with the trumpet, who's name I can't remember ATM is played at 11:00am to remember those that were lost.

Makes sense, as Canadians have little need to memorialize the American Civil War.

Memorial Day is not specific to the Civil War. It was established to honor all who have fallen in all wars.......
