Dunblane 20 years on

Post by Symmetry »

It's now been 20 years after the last major school shooting in the UK, and the resultant ban on handguns.

Tennis player Andy Murray is perhaps the most famous former pupil who survived the attack in which 16 children and a teacher died.

Over the following years, handguns were gradually banned from the UK as a direct response.

Somehow not surprised that you're using anniversary of a tragedy as leverage to try and troll Americans.

You can crow about a relative absence of school shootings if you like but wasn't it the UK's national security services who let four guys with bomb-shaped backpacks annihilate London's subway system, then a few days later shot a Brazilian plumber as he walked to work to try and prove that they did know what they were doing after all?

.
Dude, the subway system is very far from being "annihilated".

I have no idea how you took that leap.
