Which american baseball team is going to do better this year, The Detroit Tigers, or the St. Louis Cardinals?

It'll be a shell, stripped of all it's copper, and possibly even some of it's brick, with back taxes due and probably a hefty water bill due, but yeah, you can buy it cheaply. Then knock it down and plant a garden, because urban farming is where it's at right now.

Once when I was looking at houses in Detroit, google maps showed two or three houses on the block with the other fifteen to twenty lots vacant. No recollection of neighborhood.

I was reading about Highland Park and they took out most of the street lights. They suggested home owners used their porch lights to deter crime.

Vast areas of Detroit have become mostly vacant. There are picture blogs comparing Detroit from the 1950's to modern days, and the differences are stark.
