Hamster
Just bought one today. I'd like it so survive. Has anybody owned one, and is there anything I should know about taking care of them?

Don't get too attached to it, they're short lived. Also their cage is their home, don't take it out too often, they will shake and be in fear which shortens their life even more.

Hamsters love historical re-enactments, particularly duels.
To incite it to duel, try some famous duel-starting insults from the late 18th century America - coward, liar, scoundrel, rascal, puppy and of course, self-interested politician. Hamsters are quick on the draw, but they rarely go for a kill-shot, preferring to maim you after insult, unless you implied that they are a career politician (aka the worst career goal ever and the lowest form of life).
I like to give them backfiring pistols to ensure victory since I have difficulty hitting the little buggers at 100 paces.
