Two amusing things: apparently, Boris called Mr Pincher (before appointing him) 'Pincher by name, pincher by nature' - and rumout has it that he is known as 'Arse' Pincher.

tbf it's not like Boris himself has resigned. Two underlings of his handed in transparently self-interested resignations and were immediately replaced.

Although yes, given how the MSM loves to sling mud at anyone who doesn't fit their Globo-Borg worldview (see: critical coverage of senile Trump vs neutral coverage of senile Biden) it is surprising they haven't leapt on the chance to attack Johnson.

Gun violence spiked over Fourth of July weekend, with shootings reported in nearly every U.S. state that killed a total of at least 220 people and wounded close to 570 others, according to the Gun Violence Archive.

The database, which collects information about fatalities and injuries linked to incidents involving discharged firearms, updated its records early Tuesday.
