The Basics
SEASON LENGTH - 8 weeks
LEAGUE SIZE - 20
LEAGUE GAMES: - You play a set of games versus every opponent in your league. A set consists of 4 Games:. - 1 Game on Your HOME MAP - 1 Game on Your Opponents HOME MAP - 2 Games on Random Map
GAME LOAD:76 games in 8 weeks in batches of at least 12 games at a time - that means Premium Membership is required to enter
GAME SETTINGS: 2 Players (no Poly) Auto Seq Flat rate Adj Fog 20 round limit No Beta or Closed maps allowed for HOME MAPs
SCHEDULE New sets will be dispatched on a weekly basis at the weekend starting 18th October as follows
In order to allow more people to play, the lowest league can have less than 20 participants (minimum eight) and the sets will be distributed evenly according to the number of players.
TIE-BREAKER: 1. Points 2. Head-To-Head 3. Goal Difference (Games won - Games lost) 4. Highest Number of 4-0 Wins 5. Highest Number of 3-1 Wins 6. Highest Number of 2-2 Draws 7. Lowest Total Rounds Played of All the CURRENT Seasons games
PRIZES: Currently to be determined, but may include STARS, MEDALS, TOKENS and/or Conquer CREDITS As the next few rounds are compromised due to no previous scoreboard, prizes will be paid out equally to winners of each division. Once the scoreboard starts to show some level of being correct, higher prizes for higher divisions will be awarded.
***TO ENTER: To join, pick your Favourite Map (For 2 Player Games) and Reply to this Thread. SBSL 25 League placements for returning players will be honoured. New players will be randomly assigned in the available slots. Unfortunately we will not be able to honour season end promotions or relegations but this should suit the majority.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
This is a League Format. Each League will have 20 Players. Every Season, players will be promoted or relegated as follows:
Finish 1st: Promoted 3 Leagues Finish 2nd: Promoted 2 Leagues Finish 3rd-4th: Promoted 1 League Finish 5th to 16th: Remain in Current League Finish 17th-18th: Relegated 1 League Finish 19th: Relegated 2 Leagues Finish Bottom: Relegated 3 leagues
2 exceptions for balancing league numbers:
Premier League
Finish 1st to 13th: Remain in Current League Finish 14th-17th: Relegated 1 League Finish 18th-19th: Relegated 2 Leagues Finish Bottom: Relegated 3 leagues
Lowest League
Finish 1st: Promoted 3 Leagues Finish 2nd-3rd: Promoted 2 Leagues Finish 4th-7th: Promoted 1 League Finish 8th to Bottom: Remain in Current League
REST SEASONS:
A rest season can be taken where you are guaranteed to stay in your current league. This guarantee is good for one season but not for consecutive seasons - that will result in dropping down a league via relegation.
To get your name added to the starters for Season 26, just reply on this forum with your HOME MAP choice! Random Map is permitted but will not select any banned maps. Some maps ARE EXCLUDED including the slowest Maps on these settings with an average round time of over 12 Rounds:
Hello. I've seen some forum palaver about this Super League, and commend the team for moving this initiative forward.
Unfortunately, most of my favourite maps are banned. I see First Nations North America is banned, too, but I'm wondering if this is a mistake and it should be First Nations Americas?
I am also surprised that Supermax: Prison Riot is permitted, as it seems a lot larger than some of the banned maps. Is there a known criteria for bans?

WWII Europe.
We decided to NOT add Supermax to the banned maps list. FNNA being there was literally just a data error; it was always meant to be FNA. For now, we're not adding any new maps to the banned list. The way Craig25 and his team determined which maps to ban was a really good system, based on average round of completion of tabulated games.
That makes sense, all of my 1v1 games on USA 2.1 are concluded via the round limit LOL. I noticed there were some other larger, slightly more basic maps that got through, so I'm a little relieved.
