I'll always regret not have been born 20 years earlier to attend a Bruce Springsteen concert on the 80s.
I think Kiss or the Stones would have been good to see in their primes. Along with AC/DC and Sabbath.

Hotel California

I was surprised to see a Sweet mention. Despite the obvious cheesiness of the lyrics, I think Love is Like Oxygen is a pretty cool song.

yeah. But not "rock" methinks. They did do a lot of stuff that was.
At their worst they are excruciatingly bad, but They're still one of my favourite bands because their best is seriously good. Have you heard the long version of Love is like Oxygen?

My copy of the song is the single version, but I do recall hearing the long version once. I feel about it the same way I feel about songs like Pilot's "Magic" - it was obviously written because the band had a cool chorus idea, but then when they got into the studio, they realized they didn't have anything else, so they just did the same thing four times in a row and sent it to radio stations :P That being said, I don't think that means it's any less cool; it just means it'll never be a contender for being a "good" song, but I've never put much stock into such labels anyway.

I'll always regret not have been born 20 years earlier to attend a Bruce Springsteen concert on the 80s.
I saw him with the E-Street band in Toronto (Canada) during their "Born in the USA" tour. They played a long set and it was

Some of the other concerts I rank as some of the best I've seen:

I saw the Who in 1982 in Toronto. Not one of the shows in December at Maple Leaf Gardens, but the show at Exhibition Stadium in October. They were awesome. It was general admission and I got about 100 feet from the stage.

I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan in an old roller skating rink (only a few thousand people). I was about 10-15 feet away from him the whole show. He was unbelievable.

I went to the The Canadian Blues Festival at Molson Park in Barrie a few times...and saw a bunch of good acts...but Ten Years After was by far the most memorable. I saw Alvin Lee a few years later with Alvin Lee and the Detroit Diesels at Massey Hall in Toronto (they were sandwiched between Roger McGuinn and Steppenwolf (with John Kay) in a 3 headliner night).

I saw a few concerts at big stadiums that were a little disappointing, Neil Young and Crazy Horse - the sound was bad. Pink Floyd - I didn't have good seats and the sound wasn't great where I was. I saw The Who in 1989 at Exhibition Stadium (that's when they didn't have Kenny Jones any more and they used some lead guitarist and Pete Townsend played acoustic guitar the whole concert) - it was just so watered-down from their concert in '82.

I saw The Rolling Stones in 1989 at the Skydome and it was quite good.

In smaller outdoor venues I've seen Brian Setzer, George Thorogood (a few times), Oasis, The Animals (with Eric Burdon)...

Sorry...I'm just rambling...

But I have to mention that one of the best concerts I've ever seen was a show by Murray McLauchlan at a local university. I was it in the 1980's with my dad and it is one of my favourite musical memories - the storytelling and the playing and the singing - I don't expect to ever top it.

Dream Concert....I have two....

The Doors.

Jimi Hendrix.

Favorite rock song....impossible question for me to answer. Probably one of 50 Beatles songs. I checked my ipod recently and the most played song is Eight Days A Week. Maybe that's it!

I ask the attention of a moderator to ban kid again for being racist. The Beatles were all white.
