POTC Mafia Game Thread Day 7 Town Win! Premium goes to Sully

I would like to say I think I played very well this game despite the fact that I got lynched Day 1. I was the one who really made the solid case on Edoc which resulted in a lot of pressure on him Day 2, which seems at least from my minimal reading to be the reason why he outed himself so early and gave out the scum names. Also it made pretty clear that my hammerers (Mandy and Streaker) were not town. Though I'm very surprised Mandy wasn't scum.

It was a great gambit...props to that...on the other hand...I should have been able to counter victor's claim however I actually doubted what my role actually was...I felt that giving people an extra action was too powerful and thus probably a fake.

Only certain people would that power have been useful. I think the only person you empowered that actually used it was falko. Everyone else either didn't have a night action or didn't have a role that gave them night actions. Although if you had targeted victor or streaker, it would have been double NK or recruit. I was all set to write a scene with Cotton acting as pilot, freeing up Jones or Beckett to do more that night.

And yes Edoc, victor needed to recruit Jack Sparrow. Killing him isn't the cult win condition. Killing him was yours' and Streaker's win condition because Jack Sparrow has crossed both Sao Feng and Beckett in the past. Jones wanted to send Sparrow to the locker, not quite a true death.

Who was beter? This whole game was a cockup. You all followed my lead from D2 and then the town fell apart. For gods sake, you knew who the cult recruiter was and you DIDN'T KILL HIM! That completely rules out the entire town from wining the VIP. Victor didn't actually do much, just played along. I screwed the Scum, they never even had a chance to play. That leaves only the cult for winners. I have my opinion about victor recruiting me, I can't vote for him Freezie played well in a conservative fashion, Tonka is the only one who turned the tide really.

Being a mod does not exclude you from being able to be eligible. Unless I'm violating some impartiality statute for all mods I think.

Of course, this does not prevent you for not choosing a mod due to personal preference.

You confuse me some. Besides I have prem for like up until 2 years after now and my mod gig gives me more prem. I don't need the prize. More rather I'm looking to be told that I did a good job. I want the RESPECT!

Thanks, safariguy I loooooooved this game and being cult recruiter - easily my favorite role. And, for the record, if I win, I don't plan on keeping it for myself, I'll probably give it to someone - maybe got tonkaed, given he played like a pro after I threw him under the bus, or a freemium friend of mine. Got tonakaed is not eligible for the prize as he did not win. I vote Victor and he can give the prize to gt if he wants. That was bs. I knew Victor was lying from the beginning, but I was hoping that helping edoc would allow him to help me - like he said he would. I am glad he was stabbed in the back, as he betrayed not only the mafia, but me personally.

This game certainly didn't play out like I imagined it would. Edocsil really screwed over mafia. The quicktopic makes for an interesting read, for those that have the time.

My top 3 for MVP would be

-edocsil (though I hated what he did, it was still a very balsy move) If not for VS, he could have pulled it off
-VS (playing a great recruiter, maybe not standing out so much, but he got his cult to victory. Managing to out himself as Davey, and still not getting killed )
-tonkaed for his great play

I will nominate VS.

Also, I think the game actually was pretty close to the movie. Backstabbing, secret plans, decoys, more backstabbing
So props to the mod for the great setup.

Sorry for largely being absent for the majority of the game. Truth to tell, I didn't much enjoy the game once everyone was outed, and lost interest. Normally, I like Saf games, but the fucking cult...

If I ever start modding, rest assured I'll never have cults.

As for MVP, I can't really say as I didn't read most of this and it wouldn't be genuine to nominate someone.
