We are talking about fancy quotation marks ( " ") that / inserted in Milkshake's role PM, Shield. I don't have any in mine (fancy or non-fancy). Do you have any in yours?

What does everyone think of this? :-k
I think he means he can't use the same exact shades as / uses, because all the options look alike for the msot part. The shades he used look fine to me
I think he was referring to the quotation marks. I don't have any quotation marks so I can't help there.

1 - can you explain "Prince" in a Wild West - Ghost Town scenario?
It says that my character is a wealthy landowner, has superb health and a great mind. thats all, idk how he fits into the wild west, but thats what he is.

Maybe he fits in as he is as wealthy as royalty?
Rodion wrote:2 - if you are a survivor in game B and this survivor can get a 3-day period of guaranteed survival by your JOAT dying in A, doesn't it make more sense that you die in A? Town can still win A for you, while your odds of winning B are pretty high (since by the time you are vulnerable to being killed again, the game might already be over!).
I guess your right... never saw it that way, to focused on keeping the JOAT alive, even though he would lose his powers.

Oh, the quotes. I don't have any in mine, but I don't have a noun describing my role either. I have adjectives describing my role name, so quotes wouldn't have been necessary.

Milkshake's Role: "Noun", Alignment Role
My Role: Adjective Alignment Role

I can comletely understand the need for quotes on a noun, but mine was adjectives, thus no need for quotes. Is this also why you don't have quotes? (directed at all who claim they don't have quotes)

If you acknowledge I'm right and you are L-1 there, why didn't you take the chance to hammer yourself there?

@Shield - I got nouns with no quotation marks. I am, however, considering that / may have made role PMs non-standardized to throw us off (hypothetically, town/town players having their two winning conditions worded differently).

I'm trying to think of a good way to handle the situation, but I'm not yet sure what should be done. I'll keep thinking. Meanwhile, anyone got a plan?

I do, but even though im on the chopping block, not many people may want to hear it, lol

idk what the vote count is on either side, but we can put my roles to the test, because i dont want to lose the JOAT, do you?

We let me survive the night by lynching or voting no lynch on both sides, this side is closest to no lynch. me and you (Rodion) are closest on A, if we both unvote, then vote no lynch it will be 2 for me, 2 for no lynch i think...

Then you tell me what to do to who on side A, if im wrong, i die, if im right, i live. (if im not NKed)

If this is to be done, I can tell you that you'll use your investigation. I'd also let you investigate someone of your choice without anyone knowing who that is (indicating someone to investigate a specific person has framer bait written all over it).

Not sure if this is the best plan (a lot could go wrong), but if we end up going that route by the end of the day, investigate whoever you please in A (and don't tell us until D2 arrives).

Ok, to follow up on info gained from milkshake's claim. If his claim is completely accurate (which I think it is), then here is what info I gather from this scenario:

1. THe roles are not independent. / has set up this game to make each player's A role linked somehow to his B role. In milkshake's case, death in either thread has implications to his other role. Looking back at my role PM, I noticed that my two roles have a connection as well that I didn't notice before (because it's not mechanically connected like milkshake's). This means:

2. We have a higher chance of having M/M players. Because the two roles are not independent, it is more likely that someone is M/M, unless / wouldn't do that intentionally. Though we have seen players with T/3 (3rd party) alignments so maybe we still have T/M players (mixed alignments). But the chance that we have more T/M players than M/M players boils down to whether or not / would have made them that way (playing the mod) instead of independent probability (playing the game).

Summary: the roles are dependent, but there still might be T/M players because milkshake has shown us an example of mixed alignment players. (and of course we know there's T/T because Rodion and I have claimed as such (if you can believe us, that is))

From here, I would like to see the sentence structure of everyone's role PM.
Is it: Adjective Alignment Role
or: "Noun", Alignment Role
or something different?

lynch me on the other, still lose a JOAT, but my third party cant dire for 3 days on this side.

I'm catching up here, but something is off about your claim. If your only objective is to survive, why would you vote yourself here? You lose one game, and hurt town's chances in the other? If you die in Side A, it hurts town's chances just as much, but you almost ensure your own victory on Side B. I think you're being deceitful about something, but I'm not sure what your motives are.

I see where you admitted it was a mistake, but you still didn't unvote? And you were too focused on keeping a VT role alive to worry about your Survivor role? It still doesn't make sense.

A: One-worded noun comma role - no quotation marks
B: Two-worded noun (if english grammar is not messing with me) comma role - no quotation marks

Examples:

Farmer, town bomb
Mr. Pink, vanilla townie

So your saying for instance one says "prince" and the other says prince?
If this statement is correct one of the Sides could have impersonnations(Sorry for the lack of spelling skills) of the other side. Let me get my roles real quick and type this up. I appoligize if I dont get the exact color, but I will try.

Side B: "Adjective noun", Role

If we're using 'prince' in this case, it would be "The Town Prince" and The ACTUAL Town Prince (with 'ACTUAL' being apart of the role name).

interesting... another example that the two roles are connected and are not, in fact, independent as we had previously thought

Completely WIFOM, but doesn't this:
Victor Sullivan wrote:A: Role Side A, “The Town Noun (in the same quotes as CM5)”, Role
B: Role Side B, The ACTUAL Town Noun (same noun, no quotes), Role

-Sully
look like it could be easily set up like this:
Victor Sullivan wrote:A: Role Side A, “The Town Noun (in the same quotes as CM5)”, Role
B: Role Side B, The ACTUAL Town Noun (same noun, no quotes), Role

-Sully
When one is identified as "The ACTUAL Town [noun]", it gives the impression that the other is "The FAKE Town [noun]". Though I don't know why he'd show everyone if that was the case. :-k
