1. First, you should meta more as youll see I havent been in many games with doom lately so my meta for him is rusty.

2. Do I expect to lynch doom over this? Probably not. I was more hoping to generate discussion. The joke votes were sparse and the only cases presented seemed to be dead or dying (not that I really supported them to begin with).

3. This isnt a stagnated player whose gone unnoticed or we cant find a replacement for. This is a player who has someone willing to replace in the wings (and by the way since Im not in The Wire, Im looking to playing with/against stubbs). I dont see what there is to be impatient about and Doom's issue seems to be with the idea of a player replacing in a self-picked flavor game.

4. Im actually looking for Dooms input. Hopefully he has something good to say.

I don't care who we lynch. I was just thinking no lynch doesnt make sense, and rish doesn't want to play anyway.

unvote? vote jonty, you dirty hypocrite.

Nope. Doom's argument is solid. Create Your Own Character. I would've hopped on if Jonty hadn't volunteered.

I will also unvote, vote jonty because while strike wolf did jump to lynch doom on a bad case, jonty continued it when Doom's thoughts were justifiable... Also, if my reasoning doesnt sound clear, its because I havent had sleep in about 19 hours because I graduated and went to a party afterwords... just in case.

So Aage and Newguy you would be okay with lynching a potential town power role on the policy that this is choose your own character and we shouldnt have replacements? Or are you just okay with Doom not seeming to care about that potential?

Isn't every role a power role though? Some will surely be stronger/more important than others but if your role is useless it's because you asked for it right? That said, Doom's seemingly suggested policy of not doing replacements is BS and his attitude thus far is infuriating.

True enough that this game is most likely non-vanilla but I meant more like the docs and cops and other important power roles.

This is why the "joke vote stage" is such bullshit. Apparently people are only allowed to make a joke before a certain moment is reached, at which point someone points out "the stage has ended" and everyone loses his sense of humor.

Rishaed made the character, he should play it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with disapproving of a replacement since it would defeat the purpose of the flavor.

Voting Jonty on the other hand has nothing to do with that. I suggest you turn your attention towards that, because he seems to want to be on your team, and I wonder if you want to be on his.

If I am the pro-town hero, why should I care about possible other pro-town heros? Isn't one enough?

Just because you're not a vanilla doesn't make you a hero.

I detect signs of rolefishing here. I've yet to see "pro-town hero" used as a claim. It's always seen as either sarcasm or referring to got tonkaed.

I will say that it isn't that I don't want to play, its that my current schedule is making it unable for me to play in a satisfactory way, thus me requesting replacements. I do say that your logic is complete BS, and since when does having a replacement for this game, as I come in either Stubbs/Soundman, constitute a case? Ah the things D1 cases are made of! A bunch of crap.

Nor have I seen a pro-town hero claim, but this CYOC so roles may be wacky and I didn't see the post in a sarcastic light.

I don't really know the guy, but based on what I've read, "pro-town hero" could actually be something Doom would come up with.
