Nope. Doom's argument is solid. Create Your Own Character. I would've hopped on if Jonty hadn't volunteered.strike wolf wrote:Voting someone because they are about to be replaced is always bad. This is especially true on pivotal days (DAY 1 where all early assumptions are made and first scum /town reads begin and late days as you approach lylo situations) Doom may not even be fully serious but I will vote him for this. vote Doomyoshi
I love this guy.DoomYoshi wrote:Nope.

Isn't every role a power role though? Some will surely be stronger/more important than others but if your role is useless it's because you asked for it right? That said, Doom's seemingly suggested policy of not doing replacements is BS and his attitude thus far is infuriating.strike wolf wrote:So Aage and Newguy you would be okay with lynching a potential town power role on the policy that this is choose your own character and we shouldnt have replacements? Or are you just okay with Doom not seeming to care about that potential?

This is why the "joke vote stage" is such bullshit. Apparently people are only allowed to make a joke before a certain moment is reached, at which point someone points out "the stage has ended" and everyone loses his sense of humor.strike wolf wrote:So Aage and Newguy you would be okay with lynching a potential town power role on the policy that this is choose your own character and we shouldnt have replacements? Just because you're not a vanilla doesn't make you a hero.DoomYoshi wrote:We are all pretty sure this is an NV game, so not really.
And now Im starting to think you want to be lynched.DoomYoshi wrote:We are all pretty sure this is an NV game, so not really.

I detect signs of rolefishing here. I've yet to see "pro-town hero" used as a claim. It's always seen as either sarcasm or referring to got tonkaed.jonty125 wrote:Just because you're not a vanilla doesn't make you a hero.DoomYoshi wrote:We are all pretty sure this is an NV game, so not really.

I will say that it isn't that I don't want to play, its that my current schedule is making it unable for me to play in a satisfactory way, thus me requesting replacements. I do say that your logic is complete BS, and since when does having a replacement for this game, as I come in either Stubbs/Soundman, constitute a case? Ah the things D1 cases are made of! A bunch of crap.DoomYoshi wrote:I don't care who we lynch. I was just thinking no lynch doesnt make sense, and rish doesn't want to play anyway.

Nor have I seen a pro-town hero claim, but this CYOC so roles may be wacky and I didn't see the post in a sarcastic light.safariguy5 wrote:I detect signs of rolefishing here.
