I keep getting night killed quickly in these games...I should re-think my playing style or something

So almost all of the twists I had thought of never came through, because you fools killed almost everybody...

So Jack Sparrow (MountainLion) was supposed to switch mafias each night. Night 1, he was with firth aboard the Hai Peng. The next night, he'd be with a different one, so on and so forth. But you killed him the first night

Once the Godfather of the Hai Peng died (firth), Elizabeth Swann (nagerous) was supposed to become the Godfather of the Hai Peng. But you killed him as well on Night 1

Once the Godfather of The Dutchman died (mandy or spin, for that matter) Will Turner would become the Godfather of The Dutchman. But you didn't kill mandy or spin.

Oh and here's all of the night actions/lynches that took place:

Day 1

firth4eva is lynched (Godfather)

Night 1

MountianLion (SK) kills nagerous (Doc)
Anarkistsdream (Godfather)kills mandy (Godfather), So this is a no-kill
pancakemix (Godfather) kills MountainLion (SK)
Nagerous (Doc) protects Anarkistsdream (Godfather)
Mandy (Godfather) kills pancakemix (Godfather), So this is a no-kill
Colaalone (Insane Cop) investigates Anarkistsdream (Godfather)

Day 2

pancakemix is lynched (Godfather)

Night 2

Anarkistsdream (Godfather) kills Colaalone (Insane Cop)
Colaalone (Insane Cop) investigate Mandy (Godfather)
Colaalone (Insane Cop) kills mandy (Godfather) So this is a no-kill
Mandy (Godfather) kills Colaalone (Insane Cop)

My win condition (and everyone elses right?) was to be the last one standing with the heart. So i figured killing him and getting the heart while gaining the town's trust in the process would be good to do early on... so much for that

Same thing happened to me. My most interesting created role, Sgt. Dignam in The Departed Mafia was killed on night 2 or 3.
