yes I did see how you "forgot"
convenient I think that may be
as scummers are usually those
who "forget" what's in their PM.

Well, I wasn't going to vote you see,
and I still doubt you're the scum you seem to be.
But what the hell's up with this claim,
what poet named Jill EVER reached fame?

You lost your PM for such a big game,
and your claim/lie is truly lame!
So I Vote Fircoal for a patetic lie,
sorry pika', time to die.

Vote Count!
  • Selin (2) - jnd, Fircoal
  • Fircoal (6) - wicked, Selin, Incandenza, Anarkistsdream, kwanton, Talapus
  • Incandenza (1) - The1exile
  • Not Voting (2) - autoload, pancakemix

With 6 votes, Fircoal is lynched!

And so to this it's come at last -
This tally no protests will change -
And with six votes Fir's ban is passed!

"Wait, wait!" He cried, "I'm poet true,"
As he was tossed through the door.
"Come hear my rhymes, I'll convince you!"

Alas, his words fell on deaf ears;
"So worthless, my verse," he thought.
"No joy I brought, so I'll bring tears."

"I'll choke myself 'til I turn blue!"
And thus did Jill Laumer croak.
A poet true, though dead now too.

Fircoal, Jill Laumer (Poet), has been banned from the cafe.

It is now Night 1. You have approximately 72 hours to send in your night actions.

Thus morning came to Kate's Cafe,
And with it the Poet's Review -
The source of our poet's dismay.

For in this daily verse purview
The critics could freely speak out
On rhyme, reason - to name just two.

But 'lo, today, good news arrives -
Of verse no faults could they find -
And all poets remain alive.

It is now Day 2. There were no deaths overnight.

Its time I got my opinions out
Because I have a lot of them
All who forced a lynch on Fir
Sure do look scummy now
I'll start with wicked
Explanation?
Why were you
on Fir's
tail?

Swoosh! went the critics!
out the door they went
critics be playing games,
or be lucky one of us...

One or more of the six, that was part of the mob
is a bad, bad critic, watch and you shall see
personally, I do not see, wicked being very bad
I've been wrong before, but not today since it is July four...

Quite a nice way to start day number two
Not one poet kicked out of our joint
'cause f*ck those guys at the Poet's Review!

Now another suspect we must anoint
As always, the votes are the first stop
Having said that, I'll get to the point:

Call this a hunch, it might be a flop
but looking over the voting list
the name kwanton to my eyes does pop.

Could be the effect of a pernicious mist
But it's mostly a process of elimination
Along with a feeling there's something I missed.

So FOS kwanton, I say to poet nation
I must resist making a joke about masturbation.

kwanton, a butterfly, flits around from poet to poet
Incandenza, a benign guardian, he tries to convince us of this
autoload, an innocent bystander, has his eye on both
THE REST, with a few exceptions, must exercise their slack jaw today.

You would all like to know the reason
I voted for Fircoal and now he is dead
Listen close ya'll cuz I ain't speaking treason
No name was given in my PM from the Head

It merely stated that I must choose
Between English or Italian sonnets, my friends
So in my eyes Fircoal did lose
Because he claimed something that was not in my Send

So look at me and think awhile
Because that is all I have to say
If any of you think I am full of guile
Then I suppose you should lynch me this day

As it is I am curious about Aimless
Did he intentionally leave my PM nameless?

I see our kwanton browsing the forums
I hope he will come on and talk to us
For he seemed to bandwagon his last vote
so I vote kwanton to put on pressure.

These poems take much effort to write
I'd rather not make my rhymes trite
So rather I post with reserve
Your suspicions I don't deserve
I guarantee I'm quite alright.

I'll let you know that I don't bite
So ask me questions; it's your right
With no death I'm on my last nerve
These poems take much....

Please check the poem style that I write
You'll find that they're without a blight.
So I will stay here and observe
And my innocence I'll conserve
Defending will be my delight
These poems take much....

Thank you for reminding me
Aimless seems to have taken note
Now I know my name is Billy
Though I still don't know who to vote

we seem to be at a standstill
and I've done what research I could
On your poems and what you will
And all of it reads as it should

So I am going to random vote
Don't know what else to do
I cast my ballot on the turncoat
the1exile and his view

Because I don't know what else to do
My vote must go on you

Well at this point, I'm at a lost,
The death of Fircoal quite a cost.
The poets are still ahead,
but why last night did no one turn up dead?

There must be a doc who chose well,
but still it's too early to tell.
And where is Mandy in this day,
I wish to hear what you have to say!

You're very quiet, and that's just odd,
is it because of your role from the mod?
So I'll vote Mandy now and here,
In hopes it will provoke you to appear.
