Do you have a tribe? It takes resources to make nobles and people don't just hand out resources a lot.

its good to have a market to send resources once you take over a village, you send some resources from your bigger to your smaller to build it faster, and in a tribe if someone really needs resources and you have spare, its good to send that way you show your loyal and they are more likely to help you out down the line..

Key. If you have a maxed out village but can't get rid of your resources they get wasted. Also a level one Market can only send up to 1000 at a time.
