Hi Every1.

Thank you all for stepping up so quickly to take part in The Wacky Races 2011, my 1st TPA hosted Event.

The format is simple, each weeks qualifier races will consist of 7 1v1 games, with the winners from each going onto the Final race of the week, in a 7 player Terminator game. The top 4 places (not kills) will be recorded on the Scoreboard, with the winner being the Car that chalks up the most wins over the 17 weeks.

As stated in the 1st post, should the overall winner be a 2-player car, then they will go head-2-head on the maps they collectively won together to determine the overall Wacky Races 2011 Champion!.

Each week, on a Monday, I will post a series of 7 1v1 games in a PM, like I am now. Players can join any game they wish, but please remember that in the case of 2-player cars, 1 character plays the qualifier & should they win, the other character plays in the Final race of the week. It will then alternate for the following week. I will leave this initial decision up to the players, so please PM each other to plan this.

Final of Race Week 1 now completed. The Narrator chalks up the 1st win of the series, closely followed by the Bouldermobile (MudPuppy), Creepy Coupe (ubcman64) & Prof.Pat Pending (Bones2484).

Single cars have to rely on their own ability to win, 2-player cars can call on their team member to enhance their chances. I am trying to follow the wacky races as best as possible, so this is as good as i can make it, under the circumstances. Should a 2-player car be the eventual winner, then they will go head-2-head to determine overall winner.

Just a thought here, but wouldn't it be better to have some sort of points system for 1st thru 6th place, rather than just rewarding the winner. (ex. 1st=6, 2nd=5 3rd=4 and so on) At least that way everyone has something to play for and may make the games themselves more interesting with people trying to knock each other out in an effort to garner more points. my 2 cents.
