Another reason to not believe students when they tell me that they're not coming to class because they're "having serious personal problems this semester."
6 am on weekdays, usully 9-10 on weekends... I used to be much later, to the point of missing appointments at 3pm bcause I'd only got up 10 minutes earlier. Anyone heard Heart Attack by Sum 41?

Me too, actually. I used to struggle really badly with insomnia for years. The final straw came in February last year when I was supposed to go on a course with one of the partners at the accountancy firm I work for. I was supposed to meet with him at 2:30pm - I didn't even wake up until 3:30pm...I hadn't been able to get to sleep until about 8am that morning.
Last 3 years I was working at afternoon, so I used to wake up at 10 o clock. Now Im working at morning, so I need to wake up at 6:20. Man, I hate this!

Hey, not my fault, I'd come if my body permitted me to go living with 4 hours of sleep a night, but unfortunately it doesn't. Besides I got most of my lectures changed to be on later. It's not that I'm opposed to work per-se, it's just against my delicate constitution.
I like being awake at night though, less people around, less obligations, quieter, darker. The only downside is sometimes you can feel extremely lonely.

..which is why night is the prime time to touch yourself
