Has anything happened with this? I would like to see this implimented for play order, deployment, spoils, fog, reinforcements. I think it could help people with settings they avoid, without just overlooking them in game finder.

I agree with TheMissionary. Perhaps make the medal achievable if the player selects 4 of the 5 new settings to be random so that they can choose at least one to be normal. A lot of players won't want to play freestyle in a 1v1 game (as the 2nd player generally always goes first) so they could skip that option.

i'm with chap, don't implement this.
Random settings
After the S*** storm that followed the CCup4 potential draw and seedings etc....
Random was/has been discussed more and more.
What about random settings.
When you select a random (map) game be it singles or team games settings still have to be selected.
So could there be a random settings box to be selected.
Separate boxes could be available for speed games.
But otherwise you could get a genuine random game.
Its easy to farm your random medal with esc,chained sunny, but add the random settings dimension, some real challenging games could be created then.
Surely it can't be hard to implement as random maps can be selected?
