The really ironic thing is that I was watching for mistakes. Several clans DID send me rosters with mistakes in them and I caught them all, but yours was correct and I managed to add a mistake.

The rules provided for a mandatory penalty if teams were late submitting their Home roster. However, reading as carefully as I can, there doesn't seem to be a penalty for being late with your Away roster. So, everybody is okay for now, but please let's not delay things!

I read it carefully, and it only says that if they are late with their Home roster, they will have members randomly assigned to 2 of their Away games, but it doesn't say the same penalty applies if they are late with their Away roster.

If the deadline is not met the the Division Director will randomly invite players from the clan's preliminary player list (provided at the start of the season). Once details are sent to the Division Director there will be no changes allowed.

So, I should have penalized the offending teams and invited random players.



Well, this is a case of the Umpire being tired and senile, and unless someone wants to appeal to the League office I would say that letting the ruling stand is the lesser of two evils.

Im happy for the ruling to stand. The rules for these tournaments are quite long winded and you dont have the benefit of having been through the clan league first and all the many many pages of discussion there.

As a learning curve the rules of these tournaments are pretty steep

Anyway, all teams have now sent their Away rosters, and all invites for Home and Away games have been sent, with the following exception: Game 11020813. I accidentally invited azezzo, and I'm going to wait for him to drop the game before inviting the correct team, just to make sure.

Once all Home and Away games have started, I'll start looking at the tiebreaker rosters.
