The inverse of 'lying to save reputations' would be even more amusing...mrswdk wrote:I just love how the charge is ‘lying to tarnish reputations’.

Will do, thanks.king achilles wrote:Put him on your Foe list and move on. It's also a mental game and your opponent can say anything in an attempt to sway others. Feel free to also rate him accordingly.
I agree and do think a rule should be created to cover this.MagnusGreeol wrote:I know the verdict is in, And I know that it isn't against rules to lie about things to give false or true info about place/troops etc. pertaining to the maps/wars,, But lying saying someone is pm'ing you about the war out of game chat should be against the rules, If no one(s) knows any better than it could be taken serious and CA report would be made and bad ratings could come of it to, and all unjustly because of a lie NOT pertaining to war strategic, but to tarnish ones honor and integrity.
- A def. warning should have been placed on tfh182, No one should be able to blatantly lie and announce another player pm'd them about game, When in fact no pm at all was sent, It is very disruptive to fair game play.
- I motion to KA to warn tfh182 of future thoughts about pm lying, and note this.
- Thank You & Have a nice day '')>
well, thankfully you aren't a mod. why? this CLEARLY is not a rule violation. next, you will want warnings issued to players that lie in fog games or reveal info real/false in fog games. it was not and is not a violation...-Jésus noirMagnusGreeol wrote:- A def. warning should have been placed on tfh182, No one should be able to blatantly lie and announce another player pm'd them about game, When in fact no pm at all was sent, It is very disruptive to fair game play.

- Next you'll be telling us you didn't read what I wrote? I understand ( but dont practice) the part about lieing about war pertaining info, but to outright lie and say another pm'd him about said war privately out of chat, is bogus, and absolutely should be against the rules.owenshooter wrote:well, thankfully you aren't a mod. why? this CLEARLY is not a rule violation. next, you will want warnings issued to players that lie in fog games or reveal info real/false in fog games. it was not and is not a violation...-Jésus noirMagnusGreeol wrote:- A def. warning should have been placed on tfh182, No one should be able to blatantly lie and announce another player pm'd them about game, When in fact no pm at all was sent, It is very disruptive to fair game play.

It's not mind games with me. It's mind games with everyone else, creating the perception that I'm a cheat.iAmCaffeine wrote:I still think it's hilarious that someone called mindgames couldn't tell when someone was playing mind games with him.
There's a bit of a difference between someone thinking something and someone just telling a lie.Thor60 wrote:Well it just happens,
How can you really stop it, it is a freedom of speech and what they personally think. No matter what you say, if that is what they think then that is what they will say.
I for one just recently was in a game and was accused in the game for cheating. The other played called it secret diplomacy. which was completely untrue.

As for 'hilarious', as I've said before, if this is the extreme of what you find funny, then you lead a pretty sad existence.

At least IAC didn't insult our intelligence by trying to deny the 'pretty sad existence' part.iAmCaffeine wrote:This isn't even the extreme.m1ndgames wrote:It's not mind games with me.
