Day One

Vacuums buzz up and down red carpeted halls. Ice avalanches, plummets, and crashes in near ice machines. Reluctantly the convention goers open their room doors and peak from beyond the frames. Master Bush cautiously steps out into the elaborately decorated hall, gingerly placing each foot step as if he treading on thin river ice. Haydena ties the belt from his velvet hotel robe and slowly strolls down toward the Hotel Lobby. Eventually he is flanked on either side by both Wicked and Freetymes, each similarly dressed in their hotel issued robes. In a few moments nearly all the convention goers leave their rooms behind for the Lobby. Only AK_iceman remains sprawled about the lush and warming floor in his room. Peanuts and mini bottles of diet cola pepper the rugs like sand dollars on a beach. After a few minutes of gathering muster and soberness AK_iceman stumbles out of his room, door left wide open, and out down the stairs toward the Lobby. Deliberately thinking hard and long about each step, he moves toward the bottom. Just as he went to place his foot on the last step a crowd of convention goers distracts his thought and movement. As he falls flat on his face no one in the crowd looks back at the calamitous crash. AK_iceman manages to regain his footing and listlessly saunters toward the massive group. Fighting to see what everyone was staring at, he got on his knees and proceeded to crawl beneath everyone. Just as his head pokes out from the gnarled brush of legs and feet, he comes face to bucket with Moz976.

On the lush red carpeted floor rests Moz976, Batman (Townie), blue as could be, ice bucket helmeting his head, no doubt frozen to death by Hotel ice.

Now lets get the day going!

What a terrible way to awaken
The town's innocence has been taken

Everything has been stolen
Booths and tables are now barren

But this agression shall not stand
and good will prevail in Super Land

Save for us to understand
We need to stay hand in hand

Veteran or newbie matters little
working together will make it brittle.

You can read all you want, but you are not allow to post in here, unless you're playing.

Announcement:

Due to the holiday later this week, I'm going to let all the players vote on a 'Grace Day', where the holiday will not count toward the Four Day deadline. Either Vote: Grace or Vote: No Grace. Majority rules of course.

Vote: No grace

3 days should still be enough time to decide, especially since most of us are very talkative.

I was figuring since we have 4 days to decide lynch/no lynch, if you take away Turkey Day thats still 3 days that you can be active here.

vote 'no grace' - It seems like most of us will be around anyway. I won't have all day each day :P but should be able to play this game at least some of the time.

LOL

I was just thinking the same thing! One person is seperate from the group and finds the body- Who Framed Roger Rabbit all over again!

As always though, the Day Scenes that Andy posts are "fun and comical" meant to add to the story line and feel of the game- NOT cast suspicion on certain characters.

Just thought I'd clear that up before everyone starts using the scene as clues for "who dun it"

Are you sure the day scenes are not to cast suspicion on characters? Dont misunderstand me, its my first mafia game, because I dont consider that day 1 of looney as a game :?

Anyway, unless you stop during Brazilian holydays (and we have A LOT, no, more... more than you are thinking), I vote No Grace

I think there was confusion before about what consitutes a "day scene". Everyone in the one game seemed to think day scenes were our discussion during the day, however I believed Andy verified that "day scenes" refer to story lines he tells. And he says in the rules in the beginning that they are meant to be fun and comical.

While dying in a bucket of ice wouldn't be very fun, its quite comical- especially for a super hero. I think thats the purpose, and I have no suspicions of anyone based on what Andy wrote.

Ok, it's clear that we aren't gonna have a grace, so I will throw out the first vote for mafia.
