I figure that a mafia wouldn't lead the lynch on a claimed protective role with no evidence whatsoever. It would be too dangerous. But scum would follow what they thought was a bandwagon forming. So far LSU did just that.

Yes there is. Doctor Nick. He's notorious for being useless though, an "inept quack physician". I would expect him to be a naive or CPR or otherwise useless doctor if he's in here.

My coming clean about becoming the backup happened as soon as I got online after the day had started.

All this started because I made the mistake of trying to move us past the joke vote stage day 1. And because I got the stupid colour wrong when I claimed. Those are my crimes?

I'm skeptical of BK's new claim but I am hesitant to lynch what might be our last protective role. I think we leave him be for today and give our cop and tracker (there has to be at least one of them) a chance to investigate tonight.

Quick note: Any investigative roles out there should NOT reveal themselves unless they have something that will lead directly to a scum lynch.

Too risky to telegraph any possible cop investigation chuck, if mafia have a framer, they could frame BK and lead us to a mislynch. Although if we have a tracker, that might be useful. Course, the framer is a WIFOM situation, but still, it's too early to be directing cop actions I think.

I'm also a bit hesitant to vote BK, mainly because of the risk/reward analysis here. Sure, the possible reward is that we get a mafia player, but on the flip side, we could be losing our only other strong protective role.

I think this is an issue that we should revisit later, by no means am I say BK is clear, but I think the potential blow we could be dealing to town now outweigh the potential gains we would get if BK is lying.

I'm in the same vain as saf, even though I don't really believe the flavour; the mechanics kind of make sense. I'd definitely like to wait and at least explore other leads before lynching our potentially last protective role. No need to rush day two we can always come back to it before the deadline and that way if he is town we wouldnt have wasted the day because we'll have other info.

Second was LSU. There's chance he's scum, sensing a bandwagon starting.

Third vote 77. Given we think he's scum this provides an excellent opportunity to shift focus. If my vote wasn't already on him then it would be now.

Thanks LSU. I appreciate the vote of confidence. But I understand where shaggy is coming from. However I added that BK did seem to be the best lead we have at the moment - that's why I was considering voting although I didn't because I want more to go on. I'm all for pressuring though.

I am tending to go with the only other lead that looks promising and that actually is pretender based on their statement against pancake and giving him a FOS for being so sure that BK is lying but then votes for him anyways. So you go against the person stating that he is not who he says he is, then you state the same thing and vote him.

Pretender, I don't think you get what I'm getting at. His claim makes no sense, therefore I vote him. There's no pressure to be applied, because if he changes his story again he's still gonna get lynched.

That said, the fact that you'd admonish my logic and follow it at the same time is a bit strange, because you seem to be under the impression that BK is town and lying about who he is. That makes me wonder if you're privy to something we're not.

I made my point based on how they were acting and reacting. If you want to point a BW, you can point it the same way that I did at pretender because based on their statement alone screamed BW, calling out pancake in a negative fashion for doing the exact same thing that he had just done himself.

Despite raising legitimate questions about pretender, pmc then turns around and defends pretender by going after someone who's on pretender's wagon. Looks to me like pmc is trying to defend pretender by casting attention on someone else. This is despite raising questions about pretender's play.

Not saying that we shouldn't have other cases, but we haven't even heard a claim from pretender yet. If we don't get some information now, it's going to be a repeat of Day 1 where we again get no information from pretender.

What's the vote count? I'm willing to vote him if needed. I'm not getting particularly scummy vibes from him but I think we've gotta pursue this and see if we believe him and if so move on.
At least pm chugh admits to having tunnel vision which is a tick in my book and safari is making a lot of sense as always (sometimes u gotta watch out for those guys tho).
As 77 is the prime focus for now it seems logical to get a claim at least - or something!!!! (and lemme just say that there's a difference between band wagoning and trying to find a town consensus - which is something in the town's favour).
