Look, while I fully accept your cleverness, your post was not helpful then and its not helpful now. You continue your WIFOM. You blame me for pointing that out? Well, that's the cross you bear. In the meantime the rest of us can carry on with the game.
Even though i have little to do With your fights, i think you are doing exactly as he claims. You're evading his questions by making him look bad. Not sure who's Side to pick on this but he has à point.
i agree. they both seem to be right about the other, and wrong about themselves. i would be willing to bet one of them is scum, in which case it would be worth it to get a claim out of both of them...

wait those of you who know the Halo flavor, what are the possible scum factions again?
Vodean go back to edoc's original post about flavor, because he is right,it is going to be a bit tricky about pinning down who is scum this game, depending on which era of halo we are in.

In the current era Saf and Redhedge are not especially the enemy, previously yes they were, but alot of them switched sides by what I read.

So it seems this game may not be a simple cut and dried, who is who.

actually, i know the answers... i just thought back to saf's post where he seemed to suggest that the UNSC could be scum... but since hes not one of us, then it makes sense.

Fair enough. Remember, with regards to flavor, town can be played from both sides. Sweeney Todd had Turpin et. al as town and Sweeney Todd and Lovett as mafia. It could just as easily have been the other way around.

Or, we could have a Star Wars mafia where the stormtroopers and Emperor were town and the Rebels Mafia.

I seriously have no idea as redhedge and I are third party survivors, but it's just speculation at this point.

I never played the Halo series past the 2nd game, so Hunters have always been bad guys (as far as I remember), but since everyone is saying they mostly changed sides, I will take their word for it and just leave you be. Sorry I havent been posting alot, Ive been rather busy.

That sounds like an intresting Star Wars mafia. O_o

I myself have never played Halo, so other than the fact that USNC and Convenant are against each other, I know nothing...

So, please excuse my lack of Halo knowledge

Okay - so I am relatively new to Mafia and I jumped the bandwagon with the rush to vote redhedge, then everyone was talking about things clearly written in the rules. I know that Post Edit and Votes being in blue are completely different, but its right their, written clearly.

So I guess we all need to revote in blue just to make sure we don't lynch someone mistakenly. I'll get off my high horse now.

Also, UNVOTE VOTE PMC Something isn't sitting right with me about him. Its just a feeling. That's all.
You were quick to jump on red's bandwagon and now you are looking to jump on another based on "a feeling"?

Its not the same. My vote is based on his reason for voting and also for his blatant bandwagoning on redhedge.

My friend, voting no lynch is a classic scum move. Unless people think outing 2 third party survivor roles is enough for today, there is still information to be gained today. With 25 people, I think we can hold out for more information.

Now is not the time to move to night and give mafia free kills. We'll be right back at the same place tomorrow with no real leads.

I am really sick of how everyone always says this is scummy. It really isn't. It's just newbish. I cannot think of a single game in which a new player who actually suggested a NL on Day 1 was scum. Most games blur together though, but the fact remains that I do not see this as a scumtell.

At least you didn't vote him.

Mason'd lover third party survivors? Seems convoluted but believable.

My problem is they could very well both be something completely different to what they say. A cult recruiter and member spring to mind. That and I have a firm belief in people who are third party are very hard to trust as town (their win condition being dofferent to towns leads me to not trust them at all).

For a day one lynch it may not be a bad move, with the deadline as close as it is I am inclined to keep my vote where it is.

I was readimg through and don't have thoughts on too much else (seems the usual day one run around) but this post stuck out at me for some reason.

Pushing for multiple claims without much substance. Then asking about flavour which sidetracked people for a page while a deadline comes closer (possibly unintentionally but I am willing to not believe in coincidences). FOS VODEAN.

Oh dear, have you been reading? unvote, vote brandell, who hasn't been reading, and therefore is not going to know what's going on, and therefore be no help to town, therefore vote.

i don't want to seem paranoid here, but after the yomiel episode you can't be too careful.
does anybody know who brandell is?

he joined in may this year and in these last 11 weeks he never played any games and posted only 5 times (twice today).

thats good. there are a lot of lessons to be learned in the last few pages. we love new members, but it is important that they learn. following the crowd is NOT a good idea. it makes us sheep. which allows the scum to lead us anywhere.
