It is better to lynch someone on day one. Let's say there are three mafia, for example. 24/3= 1 in 8 chance of getting mafia rather than 0% getting no lynch, stranding us at night, waiting to die because of some malignant force. I don't know about you, but I'm voting for someone.

Well if there is just one mafia then we only have 1 death tonight. If we lynch someone and they kill that's 22 left. We will also have some idea who it could be based on who died.

Not only that but you can learn from the vpting records, and how people act, so a lynch is better. Onæly noobs (and usually noob mafia) want a no lynch on day one.

I thought there was also a serial killer? or maybe there aren't any on a non-vanilla version?

Who knows? SK is a non vanilla role but Fircoal has a whole host of them, he doesn't have to have used them.

In point of fact in my experience it's more usual to have 2 mafia groups than an SK.

Given the moderators experience and basic logic, a game with 24 people will probably have more than one killer. If all you have is mafia, and only one mafia, then either it would take forever or the town would win easily.

Ok so if we all go for no-lynch we may be risking more than 1 death by the mafia

This computer is worse... takes about 10 minutes to start, and then I have to fiddle around with the internet connections to hook up ith the wireless, and to top it all it runs on windows 98. Can't wait 'til I get my new laptop.

Not just mafia. There could be a vig or a SK. There are lots of killing roles.

Well if there are potentially many killing roles, should we just let them kill people left and right, or try to take our chances and try to take one of them out in the first day? since i'm a CC player, i'll go with the risk taking and say that im pro lynch.

Too many targets, too few ropes. =P~

Ok, since this Day has gone on long enough, here is the people I wanna lynch list:

Aimless: he is the item one on my list, mostly because he is the most dangerous on if he is mafia.
Reasons for killing him: His continous defense of sheep in the begining of the game (and he usually doesn't defend individual players (I added this for all of you guys who weren't on the thread during my initial accusation adn who are to lazy to look back  ))
sheep
Reasons for killing him: He begun by acting scummy, then he was going with: "Don't kill me, I am so young and inexpirienced!" O:) defense, then he tryed to put some distance between himself and Aimless by FOSing him and now he is lobbying for No lynch. Bring forth the rope!
jnd94 Not my prefered option for Day 1, since he isn't conected to anyone.
Reasons for killing him: He voted No Lynch, wich instantly makes me rope-happy.

So, mob  , what's your pleasure?
