*stuffs AOG in a trash can* apparentally trash can move and talk now ... olol just messin with ya.. you are a yellow bellied son of a pigfooted donkey tho
So there is this guy Heisenberg that sort of proved that there's nothing determinated by the past, cause and affect are not always and exact science, rather some kind of probability. The main argument is that when you need to tell the position of the tiniest particles, you need to shoot electrons to them, so according to the bouncing, you know where the particle is, but this shooting of electrons actually affected the position of the particle.
So this means you can never know the position of everything in a way to enter it to a super-mega computer to predict everything that will happen in the future.
So all this uncertainty thing has given stupid people an argument to believe in stupidities and say stupid things without understanding anything.
The fact is, and this I know since a kid, maybe 10, no matter how good you get at actually capturing everything in time and space in a super computer to predict the future, you will never be able to do it. Considering the butterfly effect, if you capture the last thing you had to to fill all the input, its already time + .0000000000000000000000001, so you have something else to capture, maybe a lot because a lot of things can change in .000000000000000000000001 seconds.
So we can never predict the future exactly.
Now consider that there was an observer from out of the universe, watching everything that happens, he could see how everything really is cause in effect. No matter Heisenberg's principle, since the decision to cast light on a particle was decided since the moment the guy was born. Determinism is true.
Yet, we are not out of the universe watching, we are in it, have to play our role and therefore determinism doesn't apply in this subjective kind of view to us.
So don't jump to conclusions like science is dead because of the principle of uncertainty, but you can STOP worrying everything is that determinated and go to bed because everything is set. You are in the world and have to play your role, even though the out-of-the-bubble observer sees everything makes sense mathematically.
This is couple of points I haven't seen combined anywhere.
