So to clarify, will it be completely random or will people start in similar leagues to where they were in season 25 and continue the old system? I'd think it would be nice if there was at least some weight placed upon past standing even if not perfect, rather than having to spend over a year working back up to the top again.

I am asking the question what does everyone prefer:

a) Completely random league assignment
b) Assign people same leagues as CCSL 25 - but as the final results have been withdrawn (even the old team cannot access them), I can't do the promotions and relegation but to be honest this is better than expected - and then for new players randomly assign

a) or b)

A vote can be done up for sure but if the team chooses to simply make the call I think option B is the most fair for everyone who has been participating in it prior. However just for shits and giggles feel free to randomize me if needed

Full random except the defending champ (wheelwright) has to be in premier league.

I would include the entire top 6 from previous season in premier league. Ewebasher can help out with the needed data im sure. He is a great guy and very solid to have on your team if you would ask him.

same leagues as CCSL 25 seems fair.
a bit of a shame for winners of the S25 leagues, but a good compromise

I think we should reset this competition and start again. 100% random division placings for me.

I am astonished that anybody can seriously suggest random assignment to divisions. Either you respect current standings or you organise classification groups as a first step before starting the league.

While it wouldn't work in my favor, I'd also be fine with straight up seeding by score for the first season of the new league - top 20 scores in prem, next 20 in champ, and so on down the line.

I would concur with that, under new management, random assignment is the way to go IMO.
