a computer cannot generate randomness, so static noise (like lighting is added to them)...random.org claim to use this type of RNG but really they couldnt afford to give away such technology at such a cheap price. So, you either believe or dont believe...ManBungalow wrote:I think that you should get better dice for buying premium![]()
Lol
I seem to remember that the dice are taken by sounds on the air or something from random.org?
Did you even read what the test did?hulmey wrote:your little test doesnt prove that the dice arent sticky lol. Also randomness cannot be proved by throwing a few thousand dice!
The dice are sticky! Today, i cant stop winning 3vs2 and attacker wins every roll. Its been like that all day. other days its the opposite.

No matter how random the dice are shit like that will still happen to people. Random does not mean fair or that what should happen does, it means random. Anything can happen.Suzy1 wrote:I don't expect to win every roll of the dice nor do I expect to win every game. However, recently I lost 4 games due to getting a player down to 1 army and was not able to take any of them out..In one game 7-1, in another game 8-1, another game 7-1 and yet another game 12-3! As I said before, this discussion, with complaints from so many members, always ends up dismissed. There are better programs, that probably cost more than what you're using here. The members here really do not have a choice and will continue playing with BS dice. Just don't tell me that I am wrong about I am saying!
Now onto business...Dancing Mustard wrote:I am, for some inexplicable reason, reminded of H.P. Lovecraft's masterful collection of tales titled "The Reanimator".
In other news: Why didn't you just let it die?
Here's some rock-hard stats for you RADAGA, not just 9% crap pulled out of the air:RADAGA wrote:BUT you stated that you never lost over 500 armies to kill the 500 defenders. So it is pointless if you had 100.000 or 1.000.000 armies, it matters that you made 23 attacks and never saw defense beat your kills.
Actually, attack 3x2 have a gross 9% edge so, technically, then you should win 6... perhaps 7 of each 10 attacks (or, rather, have more than 500 armies killed to kill 500 defenders)
Assuming defender wins 1.43% of the time 500 v 500, that means attacker wins 23 out of 23 times about 72% of the time. A flawless series of 500 v 500 attacks with the attacker winning occurs 3 times out of every 4!RADAGA wrote: okay, random is random, so it is not granted that you will win only 15 of your 23 attacks. But we are not talking about luck or bad luck, that would cause you to win more or less than the 15 estimate. We are talking about a flawless serie of 23 attacks.
I'm going for the latter. If it started 14 x 2, and the defender stays at 2 the whole time, that means you lost 2 per roll. 14 minus 1 equals 13. 13 divided by 2 is 6.5. How did you roll 6.5 times? Give it up RADAGA, your lies are becoming tediousRADAGA wrote:So, why we see every day, at least one of our attacks get horribly ponded by defence, making a 14 x 2 end up as a 1 x 2 in the end (happened to me, 8 days ago, in a game where I lost 40 to 18 previously)
So, we can deduce that either:
1) Dice are flawed, somehow, since on certain games you seem to get bad luck, no matter what you do, while in others they behave properly. (and I am NOT talking about loosing an even ammount of armies, but I mean by bad luck that it is loosing 5 to 10 times more armies than defence when one should have the edge)
OR
2) We lie, when we report those horrible dice rolls.
I let you choose.
1 in 46656 actually. Get your stats rightRADAGA wrote:And funny how many times this "once in a million" show up.....lancehoch wrote:Yes, it is 1/(6^6). 14x2
3x2 def 2 ->12v2
3x2 def 2 ->10v2
3x2 def 2 ->8v2
3x2 def 2 ->6v2
3x2 def 2 ->4v2
2x2 def 2 ->... hey wait a minute... now you're attacking with only 2? But you still have 4 attackers
1x2 def 1

"Pro" is short for "professional"RADAGA wrote:e_i_pi wrote:I did it pro bono. What part of that don't you understand - the pro or the bono?RADAGA wrote:Whatever. You got paid to defend the site
the pro ... can you explain in detail for me, please? In no less than 300 words would be fine.
actually, do the same with the bono part, si vous plait
because the good players are normally the ones that play more games and are more likely to get a streak because of itcomic boy wrote:Why is it always the good players that complain about the dice
