On the "Package" idea: my mate Dougal had himself "delivered" to my 21st party (yes, we did know what a parcel was back then - we even had postmen). Unfortuantely the party was in full swing (so nobody could hear him), and the parcel was tightly sealed (so he couldn't get out). It took some while for someone to say - "hey, looks like you've got a big present there! When did that arrive?"
Dougal had just about run out of air and had overheated and fainted.
Luckily he was OK, but I sometimes wonder what'd have happened if we'd left him there a while longer...

I like the Jesus idea, you could get a friend to dress up as a roman soldier and poke you with a stick from time to time and pronounce you dead as well.

I wasn't suggesting going as a tightly wrapped bundle. I was thinking more of a torso, arms legs all movable and covered with brown paper to allow Qeee to move around and socialise with the ladies.... [-X
