You stated that there was a situation in the past where this was warned. I however, will not take a BS warning for this. There is no guideline, no rule, no ANYTHING stated against this. If there was, I would not have done it.

and because im 20 and play xbox live has nothing to do with where i live. heck we dont even have basements in australia...lets not turn this into personal attacks as i guarantee you will come off second bestCommunity quidelines wrote:Don't be intentionally annoying!
Common sense prevails - if you are intentionally or continually making this community less enjoyable for others, you're going to be removed from it. It's that simple. This applies to any part of the site where interaction takes place; in Forums, Private Messages, Live Chat and Game Chat.
If you understand this one prevailing rule you can stop reading now. If you're not sure what that means, read on for the boring details. If you don't agree with these please leave. There are much better sites out there for you and we're not keeping you here.
Common Sense
OK, since you're still reading it can't hurt to start with the absolute basics. The Forums, Private Messages, Live Chat and Game Chat are all privileges of being a Conquer Club community member. They are not inalienable rights. So if you find yourself acting a little Martian, Venusian or otherwise "un-CC" as you might say, you will find that those privileges are affected. Before we get into the why and how of privileges being affected, let's meet the team:
Postby Kotaro on 16 Aug 2009 23:32hiddendragon wrote: well your dumbass wanted to see the rule you broke here it is I highlighted the one you broke for your simple-mind. Also here is the thread you might find it at, http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 0#p2073465. Your leadership priviledges should be removed sometime today.
Official Policies:
* Forming Clan Requirements
o Clans (similar to usergroups) must have a minimum of 10 members
o Clans can have at most, 4 designated leaders. Being a clan leader gives you access to add/delete non-leader members to your clan.
o Clan leaders can only add members that have agreed to join. Adding players without their permission, will result in a loss of those privileges
o Clan leaders can only be added/removed by admin and an e-ticket must be used for this request.
o Clan leaders should avoid setting their clan members' default group. While this will add the default clan avatar to that player, that can also be done by sending the avatar picture via email or posting it on the web so that the player can upload it.
Thanks for playing

hiddendragon, thank you for quoting Clan rules. However, over the past few months, you may have noticed a good deal many changes around this site. One of them was a distinction between Clans and Usergroups. This is a Social Usergroup, not a Clan. Since I've been berated time and again for calling "Usergroups" as "Clans", I have decided to take the high road and beat the rules with their own wording.
This group is not a clan. This group is a usergroup. There are no rules even pertaining to usergroups, let alone telling me what I can and cannot do as a user.

I'm completely bemused as to why people are pissed off with finding an extra forum in their board index?alstergren wrote:I concur that something like that would be uncalled for. You've done a lot of nice work running tournaments etc. But you can't really be surprised that people are pissed off, can you? I lol'd. You've been demanding "fair" and "consistant" warnings and bans across the entire forum. However, you cry for permabans sitewide when someone adds you to a usergroup for a duration of LESS then 2 hours, as that was how long this experiment took.
I lol.

I lol.WTF is wrong with these people?
Can someone please explain in simple terms what kind of damage has actually been done by finding an extra forum on your board index? It's not a clan, it's a usergroup, so no clans have had their league status imperilled, Kotaro has offered advice on how to remove yourself from the group(this is usually reasonable for him).
Besides PERSONAL ANIMOSITY towards Kotaro, what other substantive and worthwhile reason do the cerebrally under-privileged have for employing blatant double standards and bleating "PERMA-BAN! PERMA-BAN!"?

I can almost hear the cogs turning as the search for some hint of a rule that may vaguely apply can be used to throw the book at you. I await the result in eager anticipation.

Would Kotaro deliberately go out of his way to get forum banned when it means losing an opportunity to argue with the mods/admins? The answer seems pretty obvious to me.Kotaro wrote:Exactly.MeDeFe wrote:Oh, idk, I think a lot of fun can be had in that place.

I believe that was the entire point as evidenced by this post:
Subject: kotaro - usergroup abuse.
