Well, I'll stand by my idea. I think the recruiters might only be able to recruit the guys that already believe in the same god... But the cult thing needs to be cleared up, and the only way to do so by not angering or helping too much any god is by lynching XG.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of all three gods created cults and were out to dominate the town. The quote below (first post) do support this theory.

Talos and Lathander do look to be normal cults, but Helm may operate differently (because it was mentioned seperatly). Or maybe it dosen't and the seperate mention was just for theatrical impact.

Only one way to find out.

P.S. I don't think any gods can be classified as "Good" in this game. There may be roles who support the town (NES' Paladin of Lathander, for example) but anyone recruited into the cult probably operates just like any other cult; by killing all others off.

Anyway, I'm reluctant to vote for any of the disciples as I don't really know what game these 'gods' are playing at.

I'm surprised cena hasn't been lynched yet. Its clear as day that hes recruiting a cult to destroy everyone else. Lynching XG will just give cena another day to recruit another member and is detrimental to the town. If by a very small chance hes not scum of sorts we know we can never trust mandy in this game again.

The town finally reaches a decision as the sun sinks lower in the sky. By the dying light of day, they lead cena to the gallows. Ignoring his protests of innocence, they hang him - and as his neck breaks, a bolt of lightning hits the gallows and it bursts into flame. A clap from the heavens like a high five is heard, as is laughter that fades into the distance.

A perfunctory examination of the victims clothes provides the town wioth hte information that cena-rules is the Chief Harper (Helmite Recruiting Mason). A few people spit on cena's corpse as they leave. "Don't want no meddlers in this town," a disgruntled dwarf mutters, heading back like most to their homes and inns for the night.
