My mom called me and woke me up out of bed yelling "turn on the TV, we're getting bombed!"

I said "wut??"

She said "New York is under attack!"

Sort of the same with me. I was asleep, having worked a mid-shift. Wife came running into the bedroom with something along the same lines.

the last 10 days.....
Spoiler
CBS News White House correspondent Bill Plante on Wednesday challenged press secretary Jay Carney on the White House's continued insistence that the terrorist attack on a U.S. consulate in Libya was not preplanned.
Obama flat out indicates on Sept 12th that we need to wait (turns out to be about 10 days) to make sure....

Still unable to declare it a terrorist attack

This one

Specifically stating that this was not terrorism

Actually says the violence is not even directed at the USA, 3 days after the terrorist attacks

Susan Rice, 4 days ago, still unable to detect terrorism

1 day ago, full circle. White house officially declares that terrorism is "self-evident"

Today "White house officially changes story"
Also, Saxitoxin made a really good thread, and most of this has been documented in there, you should take a look, specifically the first few pages. Lots more information there
I guess I jumped the gun a little bit. Now it is officially official.

John Stewart and CNN seem to have finally caught on...

Turns out it was 100% Obama who shot and shot and shot, to the UN, to the American people, to the ladies of the view, and then shot and shot and shot some more, about how the terrorist attack in Libya were not terrorist attacks and just a response protest to a youtube video. Never once did Obama take aim. This man is SEVERELY unfit to lead America.

If there ever was a time to open your mind, listen to the other side, this is one of the times you should give an opposing view a few minutes of your time. This is the most important thing he has ever said.

I was at the Crab Shack having a Breakfast Crab Cake with Marinara Sauce. Stannigan yelled "Attack!" and many patrons jumped from their seats. Stannigan, with his great, muscular arms, waved them toward his back office where he had a small television and everyone crowded around to see the news. I used that opportunity to grab a pot with which I fished several of the juiciest crabs I could out of the crab tank, then dashed from the Crab Shack, jumped into my Cimmarron and peeled out of the parking lot.

For the impatient, start around 13 mins

Lara Logan, the reporter who was attacked in Egypt

Masked gunmen kill U.S. embassy employee in Yemen...
Aqlan, who was in his 50s and had worked at the embassy for more than a decade, was responsible for coordinating security information between the U.S. Embassy and the Yemeni authorities, the source added.

In Washington, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said that his main duties included conducting personnel checks as head of the "foreign service national investigative unit" and serving as a liaison with Yemeni security services.

He worked within the office of the embassy's "regional security officer," who is responsible protecting the embassy, its personnel and information.

She also said initial reports that he was involved in the investigation into the attack last month on the U.S. Embassy by protesters angry over an anti-Islam film made in the United States were incorrect.
