I think they should both explain themselves.

Speculating about the roles is kind of pointless at the moment. If there is a cop, he is a sane cop. If there is a doc, he is a sane cop. (Unless Mitch is one of them of course.)

Tim, you are slightly suspicious there.

Aage your statement about Tim is highly suspicious almost to the point of being scummy, are you trying to get the light off you? :-s

Explain yourself.

I see how you think Tim could be suspicious but hes probably just making joke vote stage comments. It looks like we are moving on though so I do agree that Aage's statement is suspicious especially when hes asking you to explain yourself. Seems like you explained yourself well already. Not sure what line your going with that.

@wcw....NWO was way cooler just saying. Also, where are you. Its been around 24 hours time to show up and start helping. Mod can we get a poke

just wondering why you voted for and why you mentioned Tim's remarked ? If my vote was a joke vote fine, if not why ? IT's just I don't find anything particularly scummy yet accept your remark against Tim :?

Why is it "highly suspicious" that I think Tim is slightly suspicious? His posts heavily indicate he does not have a power role. I'm asking you to explain yourself because your point of "getting the light off me" is bullshit, there was no light on me.

Hmmmm...I kinda agree with aage there. Mitch could be trying to scare up a false confession.

I actually think this points more to aage being scum as he seems over defensive for such a simple question.

He's got a point though, there wasn't really any light on him before.

I agree with Subtle, Mitch's accusation of Aage is not well-founded.

And why is Mitch aaaaaaaaaaaall of a sudden questioning Aage's jokevote? It was quite obvious Aage was only voting for Mitch, because Mitch was practically asking for a vote...

@ Aage maybe I should have worded it differently but why are you so upset by a simple statement? :-k

Its our job to scum hunt. Whilst maybe Mitch is wrongly questioning aage, aage's reaction does raise questions.

How do you interpret Tim's posts as him not having a PR? I just re-read them and they don't really hint at anything to me.

Btw Tim, was your vote on me a joke or serious? I remember thinking it was a joke when it first happened, but after a re-read it looked serious.

Finally, I don't think mitch's statement about Aage not wanting the light on him has any merit, but I like that mitch is pressing people this game. I don't find Aage's reaction scummy, more annoyed than anything.

We really need to hear from wcwnww and rizky... We cannot start a proper analysis as long as they don't post in here.

We don't need all the pieces to start puzzling. Since this game is intended as a tutorial game, I'll elaborate a bit. Day one is usually very boring. There will always be people who don't post much - this is either because they're not online, or because they don't have anything to comment on. Sitting around waiting for them to post helps in neither case. As town, it's better to make a move yourself than to sit on your hands. Wcw's and rizky's presence is not required for us to make these moves, because we will play our role and respond to each other regardless of them. Hiding behind their absence instead of participating is scummy, in my opinion. This is also the reason I 'made a move' against Tim. I want to see how Tim responds, yes, but it is also intended to see how others respond.
I kind of view day one as fencing, everyone is trading blows, parrying, trying to find openings in each other's defence. The real discussion and scumhunt will come later.

Of course, if people are being prodded and choose not to post once the game gets going, that would be suspicious.

Epi, I'm glad you're annoyed :) My suspicions of Tim were mostly fueled by this post of his. I admit it's not the strongest of arguments, but it's day one and seemed good enough for me to comment on.

It is true day one is often a shot in the dark, but sometimes you really hit gold, ya know? Personally, I don't know for sure what to think yet beyond what I've said already, though, so I apologize if I never seem to say much.

Thanks for the elaboration Aage, I get it. I guess it's because I feel a little bit stuck that I am looking for fresh blood and additional input, but don't be afraid I'll keep hunting the scum ;)

True, it is a very learning experience :)

So I think I see where Epi is coming from when he talks about Tim as well, on top of my suspicions over Mitch. I would be ok with pressuring either now and seeing if anything turns up.

seems odd how do you KNOW cop is sane?? vote epi for assumeing things already bad bad epi

This is why Mods ask players to colour, and bold their votes. Votes are easily missed, and I tend to miss easy.

Please use this format:

Vote Streaker, or any variant but colour and bold is required.
I edited the vote count.

Thank you for your understanding.

that is my bad i had thought i had clicked the red and bold actually looking at it it has the color and B tag so not shure why it didnt bold.

Just gotta make sure you hit it at the right times, or make sure you've highlighted ALL the critical words.

im curious are you seeing it and interested in pressureing either of us ecause you dont care who gets lynched as long as its not you?? hmmm always ways to be interperted differant. im gonna do dishes(just got hoem from work so checking in on games and such now before hores) and then reread the thread and i can post some more then about currently potential reads.

@aage are you deflecting onto me by answereing mitches question with a question about me? possable skumy though cant say uur skummy jsut or that gotta look more at it
@subtleknife nope didnt claim anything im just saying that there can be a et up with only VT's set up with 1 or 2 power roles so him saying that because i hinted at being non PR dont mean im skum

Hinted at being no PR is the very definition of softclaim, as opposed to a full claim where you outright state it. So yes, you softclaimed.

As for the rest of what you directed at me, I said pressure, not lynch, but your reaction to the suggestion is proving to be very interesting. Replying with a counter-accusation to what was, in the end, not actually an accusation, gives off a bit of a suspicious air.
