And on topic, the west should be mortified. Russia had zero expectation of the west, or all of NATO, coming to the aid of Ukraine. Throwing billions of dollars of military equipment their way. Sending NATO forces to personally train and prepare the Ukrainian forces. Of stifling sanctions against Russia to a magnitude not seen before.

There is an old text by a gentleman called Major General Smedley D Butler.

The text is titled 'War Is A Racket'.

It is a short text and not brilliantly written (after all Smedley was a soldier, not an author) however I would advocate all take a read.

It is perhaps a 100 years old but still very relevant I feel.

I know of the 'Nazi' coup as it may have been sensationalized at the time.

I am in the UK and can assure you that the corruption/rot is not confined to DC and has indeed been eating away at our societies for at least a century.
