I don't know much about the halo story other than shooting people, a needle gun, warthogs and banshees and something called the covenant. I had a demo of the 1st one that had absolutely no story.

I only play multiplayer but the theme is more serious to have a jester I think...

assumming a jester role in a game as large as this is unwise. A game mod wouldn't want to run the risk of having 20 odd people sign up to play only to lose in the first day. Strider is just acting scummy, and should be dealt with accordingly
