2014-11-25 12:00:34 - FlyingBob: Do you think we'll finish this game before 2015??
2014-11-25 16:41:37 - PaulatPeace: That would be nice!
2014-11-26 03:01:28 - patrick1744: We're on pace to finish before Christmas
2014-11-26 03:01:35 - patrick1744: Or Hanukkah
2014-11-26 03:01:40 - patrick1744: Or kwanza
2014-11-26 03:01:47 - patrick1744: Or Xmas
2014-11-26 03:02:04 - patrick1744: * and
2014-11-30 13:05:05 - P*Funk!: Well we made it to Thanksgiving here in The States, but this game won't last much longer Pat as there are only 4 rounds left!
2014-12-01 04:58:19 - FlyingBob: oh yes didn't see that
2014-12-02 07:26:31 - Lex Usi: My internet connection failed me :(
2014-12-05 21:47:47 - Donelladan: gg PaulatPeace
2014-12-11 01:03:11 - FlyingBob: the game is over at the begining of the 20th turn or at the end?
2014-12-11 02:28:25 - rcfritz: end
2014-12-11 03:36:04 - P*Funk!: You sure? And, why did Donelladan already congratulate Paul? Call me obtuse....but what am I missing?
2014-12-11 07:41:02 - PaulatPeace: It is my umderstanding that with a 20 rnd limit game...20 rnds are completed...then it is over. The 20th rnd won't be over till everyone has had a chance to play it.
2014-12-11 08:04:13 - Donelladan: P*Funk, Paulat have been droping more than anyone else for most of the game
2014-12-11 08:04:28 - Donelladan: so he'll win at the round limit
2014-12-13 03:55:05 - patrick1744: Yes. Paul wins. Good game Paul.
2014-12-14 17:50:43 - FlyingBob: sorry guys
2014-12-14 20:55:17 - Donelladan: what ckind of crazy move what that scipio? I know I had no chance to win it but why killing me round 19 anyway?
2014-12-16 03:36:51 - rcfritz: gg Paul
2014-12-17 07:43:49 - EminenceGrise: g paul, well played
2014-12-17 21:50:29 - P*Funk!: So, just a quick question all. We were all asked to follow a "Code of Conduct" and not attack each other "tit for tat". My assumption was that in the end we would all have an enormous melee where we would all go for it. NOT so that whoever won the game
2014-12-17 21:52:56 - P*Funk!: would be the person who guilted others into NOT attacking. Is this is what was intended? If so, I must say I feel "duped." Hope I am missing something and one of you can bring clarity to me before my turn. I'll wait a few more hours before I go.
2014-12-17 21:54:40 - P*Funk!: I willing to bet Donelladan, that's why Scipio took you out. Trying to make something happen.
2014-12-17 23:44:51 - PaulatPeace: P*Funk!....I will try to answer you as best I can from my perspective. I cannot speak for anyone else.
2014-12-17 23:45:55 - PaulatPeace: I played 2 other of these same games recently...same map and settings...20 rnd limit. I was a learning experience for me.
2014-12-17 23:46:16 - PaulatPeace: *it
2014-12-17 23:49:28 - PaulatPeace: There are always various styles of play from different players and a variety of personalities...but as a general rule...fighting continuously with other players during the game has resulted in losing the game. This for me is a truth and I believe a fact!
2014-12-17 23:51:31 - PaulatPeace: with a 20 rnd limit...a winning strategy must incorporate minimizing one's losses each rnd. while maximizing bonuses and deploy each rnd. it is a balancing act.
2014-12-17 23:52:38 - PaulatPeace: Does this help?
2014-12-18 04:25:04 - P*Funk!: Possibly, however what throws me is everyone's attitude for ROUNDS now that you have this sewn up. And given the fact that all of us are clearly good at CC, why would this be a given?
2014-12-18 04:26:33 - P*Funk!: And to add to that the incredulity of Donelladan that Scipio should try and mix it up, I find more than a little confusing.
2014-12-18 04:33:24 - P*Funk!: Well, I mixed it up. Took a little bit out of some of the top guys so that others may have a shot. Wish I had others before me, besides Scipio, who would've taken the chance.
2014-12-18 04:33:46 - P*Funk!: Don't think it will change much though.
2014-12-18 04:34:01 - P*Funk!: Thank you for the invite Paul. Good Luck.
2014-12-18 04:40:04 - patrick1744: That was an irrational play. You altered the outcome to favor a lesser strategy. Also, decreasing your own chances while sacrificing others. I'm all for mixing it up, within reason is key.
2014-12-18 04:43:07 - patrick1744: Would Paul have won if you did nothing?
2014-12-18 17:19:54 - P*Funk!: That is ridiculous and wrong. I new it was extremely likely that I had less troops than Paul and that I would've lost if I did nothing. ANYTHING else would've given me a chance....although a slight one.
2014-12-18 17:23:51 - P*Funk!: My only hope was that someone would've done what I did before me...which didn't happen. Mostly, I assume, because I'm was one of the first to go and others are holding off and hoping to do something with their last move.
2014-12-18 17:25:52 - P*Funk!: *I WAS...
2014-12-18 17:27:36 - P*Funk!: In regards to Paul would've won had I done nothing
2014-12-18 17:31:20 - P*Funk!: Sorry: In regards to would have Paul won if I did nothing? I have a pretty good idea now, however, respecting the spirit of "FOG" setting, I won't say. If you're interested to find out, why don't you make a move on the South Pole and find out for
2014-12-18 17:32:23 - P*Funk!: yourself. You know, what you need to do if you want to win this game. There are no prizes for second place.
2014-12-18 17:51:17 - PaulatPeace: I respect anyone who makes their best effort to win with Honor & Integrity!
2014-12-18 19:59:38 - FlyingBob: I've attacked a bit
2014-12-18 19:59:48 - FlyingBob: let's see what happend
2014-12-18 20:43:11 - patrick1744: Unless you can destroy EVERYONE else, you shouldn't fight anyone else. These settings are not ideal.
2014-12-19 05:21:12 - PaulatPeace: Nice win Lex! Congrats!
2014-12-19 07:27:50 - Lex Usi: Holy crap, Thanks Paul. Good game everybody!
