alex_white101 has started tons of 1v1 games that he has no intention of playing in,

he said so here:

http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 675#632675

is this against the rules? im pretty sure its considered some type of abuse.

I agree with hwhrhett, I think its pretty poor sportsmanship and I think anyone who misses "x" amount of turns should be banned for a month or something. And if someone misses turns on purpose they should be banned forever.

I would think someone somewhere could come up with a way for conquer club to get a count on each players missed turns, and come up with a number that is fair to punish someone, unless they post in the forums or in game that they will be gone for some legit reason.

this guy seems to be an ASS, I joined one of his games then noticed he nad 30 games (2 player) going. I sent p/m and said " can this one have priority as I am going on holidays in 2 days", He replied he had 70 going and then missed his first turn in our game. Now I see he has 400+ games going. maybe he is really drunk, if so, I forgive, otherwise kick his silly ass out of here!

I also say, when he is finally kicked out for missing to many turns - we all leave a negative feedback. Make hin the first to get 400 negative feedbacks.

Whoa whoa whoa. Wait a minute. He is a poor student who has moved to a foreign country for college and doesn't plan on having reliable internet access until mid-October I believe. Maybe he was wanting to play a few turns and get enough RISK played before he can't play for a long period. I do admit that it was not responsible to start so many games when his internet access is not very reliable, but he's a good guy and probably has a decent excuse(not to mention you get FREE points!).

If you read the link on the first post, it is abundantly clear that he never had any intention of playing in those games. You don't start 400 freestyle games at a time if you intend to play in them... even JOHNNYROCKET24 doesn't play that many!

The fact that they are also either terminator or assassin means that no-one gets any points for them. Who knows why he chose to do it, but it is not terribly considerate to his opponents.

The only saving grace is that he does not appear to have done this to manipulate the scoring system.

What if that's exactly what he's going for.

Hardly free points. They are all terminator games. It's going to be pretty impossible to wipe him out in 3 turns.

Now it is entirely possible he's making it as public as possible so all his opponents thin themsevles out on him *trying* to get him in 3 turns, then he'll cash in his double bonus and cash himself into some "free points".

Sorry if he's a poor student and he may be a good guy but 400 games and he knows he wont have internet is wrong. He would be the first to complain if it was done to him i am sure.As posted he should get neg feedback and be put on everyones ignore list.
Maybe he should have his rank and points taken off him

No way. Alex is a good guy, and a good player. I would have expected him to have got an account sitter, but meh.

To many people are missing what happened here. Yes, he is normally a good guy. He got this wild hair up his ass that he should make a public example of how messed up 1v1 terminator games are. After he deadbeats in all these games he will have wasted the time of 100s of players for 3 days and they will get no points for it. If you read the post this topic linked to you will see that this is intentional.
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.

OK. Warn him not to do it, if it's indeed deemed an abuse, and he won't do it any more.

Because it's terminator. if you don't liken it, don't play that type.

the 'foreign country' to which you refer, according to the flag on his profile, is the United Kingdom! no reliable internet access? what part of the UK is he in?

he just moved there from brunei. I understand he's been having trouble with accommodation, which would also explain his dodgy internet access.

dint pyro just get banned for the same thing? he joined 100 games and deadbeated them all. this is why Lack put a cap on players being able to start no more than 50 games at a time which directly effected me being able to play unlimited games here. I hope once again that Lack puts his foot down and makes another example of yet another child being a tool.

mY 2 PENCE WORTH IS that he is a good player and a good guy but if you look closely he choose all large maps as well like world2.1 or africa and this would vertainly make it in impossible for hm to be knocked out in 3 turns.

Maybe someone hacks his account - ive played him a while ago, quite a few games and he always seemed a good bloke. If he had a history of doing this then by all means banish him, but im thinking there is more going on here that is yet to be explained.

I would like to have an admin/moderator respond to this post. I think since he obviously did this intentional, he should be kicked out and banned from playing for a period of time.

He doesn't deserve to be kicked out for any period of time. He is a PREMIUM member of this website and has been honorable in the past. Therefore the admin should treat him honorably and simply give him a stern warning.
