God didn't create God. God has always existed. That is impossible for us to understand because we are trapped in time and we cannot understand being outside of time and God is outside of time. He looks at time the way we look at a time line sorta'. He sees it all.

Second, God does interact with us. There are tons and tons and tons of Christians who can testify that God answers prayer. Some times though He says no and when He does unbelievers say that He isn't answering pray. But He is. We just don't always like His answer.
