Seriously, I think 1v1 is mostly luck. Someone gets lucky at the start and take a continent. Then sometimes rarely (with the bad dice of course, always favoring one person) the other player gets their luck back. But by then the game has been decided. What are your opinions?

Yeah I don't really like 1 on 1. Dice are really big and like someone else said you can have a game lost at the start.

No it was classic map with fog of war. 8 Players I think all but one were still in. ZOMFG how did you know it was escalating?

Dice aren't fair, but after you've been plaing at least over 100 games your luck will even out. In the end it will be fair. I played this guy yesterday in 1 on 1 and he got lucky and took over africa and australia, with strong reinforcements. There were no risk cards. So when all my hopes were lost ...
