Don't want to do your own XML come on in!?!

Postby HighCommander540 on Sat Aug 04, 2007 2:21 pm

I will work on the XML for any map maker that wants me too.

I don't know whether a lot of the map makers want to or not, but I am not that great at graphical design. So I was thinking maybe some people out there are good at graphical design and are either not good at programming or don't want to do it.

So anyone that wants my help I will either do or assist you with your XML if you want to do some of it. I really want to do something to help. So I think a partnership would be a good idea.

If you would like to take me up on this offer...Private message me.

*edit: If you would like me to do the XML for you. Please have the Large & Small maps ready for me. So that I can get to work right away.

Also, if you are going to base it off of something that is already in existance make sure that you have all of the names correct.

I will gladly do the XML for you or if you want I can just assist you in your XML.

Please, if have a different game play features that you want other that regular Risk have that in the PM.

If any of my maps get far enough for xml, i am too lazy to do it or figure it out. Of course, i would change the terit names if there was a mistake on my map. (i dont think im ready yet for any of them though....might never make it there...but im trying :-D )

 Yeti_C & I may have to hurt some of you.

 Actually I'm fine with this, I only like doing xml for mibi & WidowMakers. Always good to have more people. Don't be afraid to post feedback in the map topics.

Do someone of you knows if a bombardment is sucessfull what does happen to the armies placed where the bombardment come from?

Do they decrease by 1 or stay the same number?

What I mean is if the new 1 army neutral territory needs to take 1 army from the attacker to exist or not.

Sometimes emit confused words;
Man crosses it through forests of symbols
That observe him with familiar glances."

Hi I believe that the new 1 neutral is just created from militants who already live in that area but were suppressed by the existing standing army...

In other words - it's NOT from either the attacker or the defender.

It would be good if you could spell it correctly, too.
