Yes it did Strike. Also you said you were reading me as town so when JFM said it's SoN!c + Strike...to prove that wrong was to good to not use that so that played a part too. But mostly it was because we we"re thinking you could be the jailkeeper xD

Good game all, I think Sonic trying unsuccessfully to force a lynch or lose scenario last day when it very much wasn't might have made him a good target, but I did notice EW pointed it out to try to cover for it next day in case the fast lynch on Traf didn't pan out. Well played by everyone, I think having no info on who was jailkept each night made endgame a lot harder for town. I tried to soft claim jailkeeper to buy time for the real one to share that info, but maybe that was a mistake on my end.

I disagree a bit? If i get it right that is. Like i disagree on what i think was "unsuccesfull" ;-)
But yes that was a loose end so im glad you noticed! I was thinking the same afterwards like everybody always knows after !

But i agree on you playing a strong game and succeeding in soft claiming jailkeeper ;-)
:D :D
Im sure even the real jailkeeper doubted himself with your play :D

Strong game Kong =D> =D> real good play =D> =D> =D>

Good game all.
It was a lot of fun.

I think rag hit the nail on the head about participation being everything.
Really didn't mind losing to sonic, given how much he puts into these games.
Still think he should be barred from Scandinavia but good luck to anyone trying to enforce it.

Bet challenge was a bet challenge & I honoured it.

I've been quiet for a while now.
Except when applying those nipple twisters.

I agree here btw.

If jailkeeper claims when we were on 6, or maybe even earlier, would have forced Max to look elsewhere and maybe would have soft cleared some people.

So who's running the next one? I don't have time right now but might try another werewolf type game when things slow down for me but likely not till summer

Yes, it's no shame losing to someone making an actual effort. Even if half of it is bullshit :D

And, of course, Son!c is welcome in Scandinavia given what a vital part he plays in the Norwegian black metal scene ;)

Hindsight is 20/20, so scum did the right thing in not recruiting. What were your thoughts, EW and Son!c?

A recruit came at the cost of a town cop. A cop that would probably check out high profiles first..

Like EW on first night already. So no recruit. Even if that ment just 2 vs 10 to go up against. At the time i never believed a scum win was possible tbh but EW was thinking one of us could carry it home.

Or a mix: Straf (which means punishment in Danish).

I see where you're coming from, but it might also be nice to check one of the loose cannons (no offence Loose) because they're hard to control.

I need to find a game set up that I can host with confidence that it will work.
If not the next one the one after.

Any ideas on where I can search for such games guys?

I see where you're coming from, but it might also be nice to check one of the loose cannons (no offence Loose) because they're hard to control.

It's not just the cop, but also the double jailkeeper. This community has a tendency to play towards verified information (ok, Vot is gone, but still true to some extent). 2 jailkeepers are much more likely to block a nightkill and on the night after cop outs, it becomes very hard to play into.

Does a jailkeeper protect cop? Do neither jailkeeper protect cop? You can't give cop an extra clear as there's already 3 clears (arguably only 1 if you counterclaim a jailkeeper, but that still means that you will never make it to endgame and cannot kill the jailkeepers).

I dont remember what I wrote earlier about not recruiting, but I was honest about it. I think recruiting allows one to lose much more easily to random chance and I was confident enough in Sonic and mine abilities to let town think it may have been a recruit scenario. Unfortunately that last bit was an oversight, because it never pays to claim a cop or jailkeeper role unless you're already being lynched and if there's truly 3 scum you claim quite early.

I also cosign that a cop would likely check high-profile high-posting players first. It's fine to check a loose cannon, but it needs to be a loose cannon who helps town win if he's town. Sonic/Loose would fit that bill this game. I think Strike/jfm/myself would also be good candidates. These are not just candidates for a cop clear, but also for a jailkeeper protect/roleblock combo.

Had we recruited, I dont know who we would have. We would've liked strike but I didnt want to put every scum in the "likely to be roleblocked/copped"-basket.

PS: discussion about recruiting or not is a very easy way to fake progression/reads on players, or to participate without participating. It was for example easy to scumread jfm for not including himself in the experienced player list, even though that was probably just his subjective opinion.

The two jailkeepers, however, are not working in tandem and could easily f*ck each other up.

So even more potential randomness! I didnt want any randomness.

I think Sonic and I could both post well enough that we were fine to distance if needed. It didnt work out that way as we buddied up hard against Loose.

Once cop outs (which imo is fine to do after n1) - assuming a mislynch you are 7v3 and if scum did not hit any power role a cop can just take control of the day, post their check and it's up to scum solve the wifom. I didnt want to live in such a reality.

Perhaps i can run it. Creating a tradition: "the winner runs it". That is to say one of them runs it :D

But i will stick to a scenario and we can't have 2 games at the same time. If one is already advanced enough then yes ofcourse, no problem.. but not wanna go into the same swamp like last time, having a multi difficult game to remember and then getting everybody lost in time not knowing / remembering basic of their role because they can't remember in WHAT game they are and get things all garbled and mixed up in the end. Destroying the fun in all if they even realise at all their confusing their parts in both games..most did'nt - absolute bliss and ignorance on remembering it correctly - and to be expected.

Well done Scum. I had EW but Sonic I became convinced you were Town; "hidden in plain sight" seemed way too obvious. I shouldn't overthink it so much.
