dgz-Hammered with not much reasoning put in. Just a promise to sell his vote to the highest bidder and a promise that he would vote Raz whe nhe got back from Uni as he later did. Claims it was because time was running out and he wasn't sure he'd be back before deadline/didn't know he was hammering. A lot of time analyzing flavor early day one and teaching how to do his chart.

So out of those. Dakky and DGZ strike me as the most scummy. Both spent a lot of time arguing either flavor or some other silly thing day 1 but Dakky seems like he's trying to be a little more helpful than DGZ has been so DGZ is where I am leaning currently.

FOS DGZ

First i did not know that i had the hammer. and 2nd was that deadline was coming up, the veterans here said that a lynch is better than no lynch D1 so i put my vote in at the last moment i could Saturday if i remember correctly as i was not going to be home Sunday. this is exact as i stated before. short story, Deadline was coming up i joined the wagon.

i agree that i also have tried to follow the flavor path. as flavor gives a bit of "life" in to the game but can usually be a tell.

And the Chart thing was just rant at the mod and dakky should maybe done that in the PM. i blame the mod tho. he was the one who started that conversation train.

jfm: came off as town, but his flavor discussion is ill-advised (esp. the part at the beginning of the day where he asked pika, blacky and ragian to claim their night action based on their role name not being of the same kind as the claimed VTs)
dakky: I don't like the timing of his VT claim. If we weren't talking about dakky and if aage didn't have him as a target, he'd probably be my top lynch candidate. Now he's somewhat lower in the priority list
Ragian: good contributions but nothing that screams town to me so far. Clearly not a lynch candidate in the forseable future though.
Tobi: Him claiming VT was weird (but I would argue not alignment indicative as it's a bad play regardless of the alignment). Didn't do anything scummy or particularly town
(detective) Pikanchion (get the reference?): His insistance on policy lynching tobi for his claim have me slightly leaning town for him, but it might well be coming from a scum who got stuck trying to defend a policy lynch he expected to be over fairly quickly. Active D1, not so much D2 (but then again who is?)
Strike: No read. I like his last attempt at scumhunting but too early to tell.
blacky: No read so far
dgz: I would argue the least active of the remaining players at this point. I agree talking about the script and other off-topic discussion wasn't necessary. No read so far

Second, here is the list of those voting for Razor:

Based on my minimal experience compared to some of y'all, there should be at least two scum on that list, all things being equal. aage was not scum, but rather third party. So, we might reasonably expect 2 of the remaing 5 are scum out of self interest. Doesn't mean it's true, just reasonable. Of course, substitute jfm for chap.

You talk like you know we have more than 2 scum, though for a 11-player game with at least one 3rd party, I don't think 2 scum would be unreasonable, depending on the balancing of the abilities. FOS tobi
Concerning the wagon to lynch razor, I would look more closely at the middle of the wagon where the votes piled up very quickly. Of these I'm most suspicious of dakky so I'll vote dakky

It seems fair to say that any night actions have come up empty. This means that we need to buckle up and look at what people did and what people said. Apart from that, we need to get adjusted to two new players (jms and zabeast) who can't really be faulted for their predecessors' actions or lack thereof. Looking at the wagon makes sense as several have pointed out. I need to go back and look at people's reasons for hopping on or refusing to tomorrow when I have the time (and am hung over - Danish bank holiday).

Till then, don't lynch anyone. We can do this!

No. However, I am continuously puzzled in The Deep game and this one, how you ask for detailed info, and no one finds that scummy. If I did that, a cast of thousands would accuse me of some type of fishing or trolling. But, it is consistent with your behavior pattern in both games, so I guess I should just ignore it.

Context matters. My question was direct, specific, and related to things you yourself have already claimed, so it is definitely not fishing. I don't recall anybody accusing another of trolling in either game unless perhaps it was directed at jfm10 (and that would not have been for asking questions). The two of you knew that jfm10 was barking up the wrong tree here and each decided to let it continue for whatever reason so I had to ask that question.

Regardless, jfm10's claim that all the VTs are a family with flavour-based connections seems to have fallen apart (as I think we all expected).

Sorry I have been particularly quiet of late... I am in the closing stages of concluding the biggest deal of my life and every waking moment has been spent negotiating with other parties and arguing with lawyers! Completion is supposed to take place tomorrow so I will then be celebrating for a few days!!

That being said, I have been keeping up with things, but I dont really have anything to add.

So you think discussion of flavour is meaningless and that revealing anything about your role would be pointless and jumped on by others, but you find me the most scummy because I asked a single question specifically designed to shut down the ridiculous discussion around flavour started by jfm10 (this was explained just two posts prior to yours) which was being used as justification for forcing me to reveal information about my role...

FYI, Blacky just shot up on my scum-o-meter: Nothing to add, will not reveal anything, accuses Pika for oddball questions that were explained just above his post. All this after stating that he's following the game. So, what good for town is blacky at this point? Nothing to add, won't reveal anything, thinks Pika is scummy for all the wrong reasons.

Going to get very drunk this weekend but before I do I’ll just say that I was not meaning to contradict myself... the reason I don’t want to say too much is because others within the game think that flavour is everything so they may jump on something I say. If everyone was agreeing that flavour is meaningless then I would be happy to reveal more.

As for pika, perhaps I was mistaken in my assessment so ignore what I said for now...

You don't necessarily remember everything that you've read either. That looked to me like his way to preemptively apologize if something like that happened, not an admission of skimming. As we're in a mafia game, clumsy, yes, but scummy? I'm not convinced

I'm just saying that's not a wording you'd use if you thought there were 2 scums in the game (because then there's no point to say "at least"). Maybe you wanted to include the possibility that there would be 2 or 3 scum, but it's also possible (although not very likely as pointed out) that there are 3 scums and you knew it.

My issue with this quote is more with the "wrong reason" part. Are you saying your title and/or role look like what a scum would get?

I don't feel like I can vote Blacky at the moment. Not until he's had a better chance to defend himself. I don't really put much weight into him admitting he may miss something while busy as being scummy (Ive said before and ill say again. One incieence of skimming isnt scummy. A pattern of skimming is. Him preemptively stating that hes sorry if he missed something kinda sounds like something i would do if I had gotten distracted and rushed over things so i think calling it scummy is kinda overreacting) but he has been acting kinda scummy most of the game and his comments about his role probably being perceived as scummy and position on Pika are legitimately curiosities. Ones that don't simply disappear because he says ignore that.
