The graphics of this map are pretty great, there's not much critique to be handed out... the only issue I can see is the same old, the railroads.

They're still somewhat distracting in the moscow area... I think what you could try is to make the railroad lines really thin, like they've drawn with a really thin ink pen...

sigh... the railroads :( To be honest, I'm satisfied with them, because I think they're as improved at they can be. I think I tried thinner rail lines before, but the got lost in the rest of the map.

Hmm... I just noticed I'm green approved... now to get some blue ink...

I searched the thread but didn't find this small needed change.

"Pink designates ares of high population" I'm assuming this is supposed to be areas.

How about thin lines but make them double lines to resemble railway more... with a lower opacity maybe...

I think you could try rails like these (or feel free to use these if you want).

[Moved]

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)

This is really an amazing map. The graphics are very impressive and well above the average of the website. I don't think the railroads are a problem at all - they are theme appropriate. The railroads that natty_dread posted really do not match the graphic style of this map.

Only slight thing that is bugging me is the glow on the title text- it's a little unattrative. Other than that tiny issue, I'm loving this. I hope this gets back on track!

The six months of vacation for this map has expired and this map will now be labeled as [Abandoned]. If the original mapmaker wants to continue this map project that's fine but an update must provided. From this moment anyone else is free to take this project without the original mapmaker permission, but it has to be started from scratch. Hope you can pick this one back up one day IH.
